The location was perfect for us: not far from the ferries, station, bus stop, shops and supermarket. Rooms were a good size for 2 people. Bathroom had been recently upgraded, it seemed. The bed was comfortable and it was good to have a balcony. The little entrance was quite charming.

Previous reviewers suggested that the host would be very welcoming and helpful, but in spite of saying she would meet us on arrival, we never saw her. Communication was by text only. The sofa bed was rather uncomfortable as a sofa. Instructions for the coffee machine would have been helpful, (i.e. what size of pod to use, as we bought the wrong type twice, and there was no alternative means of making coffee.) The one beside lamp would have been better if it had its own connecting plug.

Everything was very good, very close to the train station, I think 7 minutes walk, very close to the center and the ferryboat station, 3-5 minutes walk. It was clean, pleasant, a large balcony and a welcoming room. Stresa is a gorgeous town.You will find a Carrefour store very close to the center and a Conad store near the train station.

The location is perfect, you have everything in walking distance. The apartment was clean and has all basic necessities.

We didn't get to meet our host, only chatted via whatsapp, instructions how to get into the apartment were little bit hard to understand, but neighbor from upstairs helped us out. Also the floors were really creaking, but otherwise we were really happy with our stay and enjoyed Stresa.

the bed was not very comfortable it takes a few minutes for the hot water in the shower to start running the kitchen could have more equipment.

Location was great. The studio apartment we had was perfect for 2. Melania was very warm and friendly and sent us clear instructions for check in. The apartment itself had all the amenities for a short holiday for 2 including kitchen appliances and utensils, a big space to relax, good bathroom and a lovely little balcony. My only suggestion maybe would be to get a slightly better mattress for the bed

The location is excellent and the hosts are very nice and friendly too. The room was also large enough with a good space for luggage and clothes. We likes a lot a table outside in a small garden.

There are two things which would be good to improve. The number and variety of glasses, cups and plates as well as cutlery is very limited. We had only a drink in the evening and breakfast at home but even for this one meal it was tight. Another small detail is the absence of any place to put shampoo and shower gel in the shower. Also a switch between two options in the shower does not work properly.

The location is excellent. Spacious rooms, very well equipped kitchen.

Very bad sound isolation from the neighbors above, each their step and furniture movement was so loud during the evening late (24 pm) and early morning (7.am) hours. That was annoying. Wasn't manage to have a good rest. Pay attention, selecting the ground floor apartment.

This apartment is in a fantastic location. We loved our stay and really enjoyed Stress. We would stay here again if we returned. Amazing host who welcomed us.

If I was to pick one thing, it is missing a small sofa in the living/kitchen area. The kitchen chairs were uncomfortable to sit on whilst watching TV-a small sofa would make a great difference. Other than that it was a perfect stay and we recommend

super convenient, the apartment was very well designed (it was a fold down bed that was surprisingly comfortable). We were a bit worried about street noise, but there was no problem as it was a pretty quiet street. EVERYTHING was a 5-10 minute walk. It was simple, well designed accommodation at a significant discount to other choices. All restaurants, the lake, and the two nearby supermarkets are really 5 minutes away. The train station is 8 minutes by foot. TV & internet work well. The host was charming. We would suggest you get the gate entry codes before arrival to ensure an efficient entry.

The area is delightful and Casa Lari is well placed for access. The room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom was practical. The equipment met the schedule supplied by Booking.com

Reception was rather confusing as it was done by phone and we were directed to the wrong room. The wife of the owner then arrived and put us straight as to which apartment was ours. After she had gone we realised that the bed had only an undersheet and pillow and remembering the other apartment which was vacant and had a bed-cover and I was tired and ready for bed, we borrowed it so as not to disturb the owner. This did not go down well!!!
