Classic and cozy property! Me and my husband were there for 3 nights and it was awesome. The hotel is a castle and so the structure and interior design was so magical and artistic, the ceilings were all painted and well preserved. The staff is also so friendly, and they’ll help you in anything you need. More than a hotel, we got to stay in a place full of history, and I wish we had more time there to actually get to know more about the place ( I’m into history and I’m a curious person)… Unfortunately or fortunately there is so many things to see and places to go in ascona, I would recommend at least 5 nights there if you like to do hiking. The location of this hotel is perfect, there is so many restaurants and local shopping places around. Ascona is one of the most beautiful places I have been out of 12 countries so far I have traveled, and if you have a chance, just drive through Switzerland roads, we went to a museum 2 hours away (Gotthard Museum) and we saw the most beautiful waterfalls everywhere, Alpes and so much nature and we got to know more about this beautiful country history. I would definitely go back.

The property is to die for- the pictures do not do it justice- it’s literally a little garden of Eden from front to back! The groundskeepers keep it immaculate and the flowers are thriving and the pool was spotless. The staff was very communicative and helpful and the bed was comfortable. The painted bed we had also gave the room some charm.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We got a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The service was excellent all the time. The restaurant was perfect.

Room a bit small, for the price not much innthe way od small additional touches like a kettle or a coffee maker. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, eg 30 mins for a glass of wine. Breakfast is good and it’s nice it’s available until 11am but some items do run out.

The service was exceptional. From the welcome to the upgrade to the dining room staff to the service team, everyone was friendly and went out of their way. It was genuine and made us feel welcome, relaxed, and wanting to return.

Absolutely perfect. If you want to feel welcomed and relaxed- that’s the place. The receptionist was really nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool, the garden, the restaurant all perfect. I highly recommend.

The property is beautiful. The views of the mountain from the pool and the ivy on the wall are stunning. The room was comfortable and the location next to the promenade is great. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location on waterfront with lovely terrace. Walking distance to restaurants. Beautiful swimming pool. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff

Good Breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good amount of parking. Plenty of umbrellas available fir the wet weather we encountered.

Very noisy air conditioning (weather was very hot so no choice but to use air conditioning). Small bedroom in annex.
