Everything! This is a family business hotel, they care about all fine details. The location as seen from pics is few meters from the lake promenade. It is less than 5 min walk from Ascona centro bus station. Also 3 min from ship station. You ve access to many restaurants along the promenade.The staff are very friendly and caring. The room is modern and big enough and the bathroom is big, new, and modern. Beds are comfy, shower is nice. Cleanilness is great, they provide daily water, there is a coffee capsule machine. You receive as well Ticino ticket to use public transport during all your stay. Breakfast buffet is great regarding variabilities and you can sit in the terrace by the yard in nice weather. You are very well served from the staff during breakfast. They have a cute dog called melody that greets you on arrival every time. On leaving, we got a very nice freshly wooden oven backed bread as a present. Excellent value of money.

Fantastic family-run hotel, with a personal touch, very friendly, great location, good facilities, excellent breakfast, and nearby parking. The hotel is owned and run by a couple (supported by Melody, a lovely little dog), who truly care about their business and about their clients. They are extremely friendly and helpful, engaged and personal. Thank you for making our stay special! The hotel has an excellent location, just off the promenade. Some of the rooms on the third floor offer stunning lake and mountain  views from the balconies. The rooms are in very good shape, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is fantastic, offering exquisite local bread and meat, as well as fresh fruits (the pineapple was deliciously sweet). Although the hotel is located in the car-free zone of Ascona, it offers private parking within three minute walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival and departure, you can even drive through the pedestrian zone to reach the hotel to load/offload luggage. Contact the hotel for details. Now that we know this hotel, on our next visit to Ascona we will for sure stay here again.

I booked my dad in here for our short stay in Ascona and he couldn’t speak highly enough of his experience here. The couple who own it are absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful and treat you like family. I came to collect him one day and they let me sit with him and breakfast and offered me tea/coffee even though I want staying there. Breakfast was great, room was spotless and very comfortable. On departure they gave my dad a lovely homemade loaf of bread. I’m hoping to return next year and hope to get myself booked in here!

The hosts were wonderful - they are super friendly and helpful and speak a number of languages. The breakfast was brilliant and we had a lovely room, spacious and quiet with a coffee machine fridge and enormous bed. The bathroom was large and impeccably clean. The position of the hotel was perfect, just off the main waterfront, so we could walk to everything. The hotel has a lovely cosy ambiance - it is our second time staying there and we would definitely book again. A home away from home. xx

Our two-night stay felt like a true vacation. We enjoyed the hotel's location – being just steps from fantastic gelato, the beautiful lake shore and a variety of restaurants. It was all incredibly convenient. The staff's kindness made us feel welcome. A simple but delicious breakfast was waiting each morning. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We arrived by car, and the public parking is only a short walk away.

The hosts are absolutely fantastic! Super friendly and attentive as they work hard to keep everyone happy. The location of the hotel was perfect just off the piazza. I loved my small balcony and the beautiful view of the mountains. Breakfast was so wonderful with fresh fruits, local cheeses, and fresh-made breads. Cappuccino, espresso, and coffee all made fresh and served with a smile by the host. The five-night stay far exceeded our expectations.

We travel ALOT, this stay is definitely the top of our stay. The host’s felt like family. They truly care about every person that stays there. We have never stayed at a place where the hospitality is top notch. You will not be disappointed. We would stay here again & again. Thank you so much !!!

Everything, the room was great, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are exceptional. Even Melody the dog is amazing.

This was the nicest staff I've ever encountered. I literally felt like I was staying with family. They were SO nice, went the extra mile in every way possible, and everything was perfect. Nespresso machine in the room, lovely bathroom stocked with unique items for your travel needs, the balcony with beautiful views of the town, the water, and the church. The breakfast and food was amazing, they gave you super clean and nourishing water, and has the best little candies that they encouraged you to take upon leaving. Everything was comfortable, clean and well taken care of.

Rita and Giuseppe are very very nice hosts! We felt like being at home. The location is perfect, in the middle of Ascona, close to the lake and the center. The room was comfortable, it was very quiet. The breakfast was good as well. We would definitely come back here again:) (Big thanks for the very good bread ;) )
