Everything was exceptional. I would recommend this hotel as a true example of what first class service looks like. The photos, as great at they are, don’t do justice to how beautiful, well maintained and clean the hotel was. The service and attention to detail are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The heated pool, restaurant, breakfast options were just incredible. Thank you to everyone for making this a truly unforgettable stay.

Our stay was great! From the warm welcoming, the location of the fantastic hotel with the unique art-touch. A beautiful, big room with a comforable bed, stunning bath-room design + very good breakfast. On the roof it' s a pool, where you can hang up + enjoy yourself with a book or just a drink and dinner with a wunderful view over Ascona & the lake and the surrounding.

The hotel is in an amazing location just by the lake and close to the old town. It has an artistic feel with very friendly staff.

Small things - but a minibar and larger towels would have been good

The place was amazing very nice atmosphere and very well decorated. The room was comfortable and good in space. The bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like that we couldn't have dinner at our hotel due to the live session of the jazz festival. As we didn't know I would expect an email before to let us know in advance. Also I would like to be able to have a menu for the rooftop and the pool all day. As the lunch is only served between 12:00 - 2:00 and that's not ideal if you had late breakfast.

A lot of care and attention went into creating this lovely hotel. The upstairs terrace is sensational. Our room opened to the green lawn…a must for me. Comfortable, gracious, will return. The women at the reception are all capable and lovely. Ask for the map to the valleys nearby. if you like to hike, it’s fabulous and then some.

Nothing not to like

staff was impressively friendly and accommodating.

NO hotel staff on duty over-night. if any guest has a health emergency or injury there is no body to help or assist except with an awkward effort to find someone. this is a dangerous condition.

Very good location The Staff was super friendly The morning buffet offered good quality food The roof terrace had a perfect view over the roofs of Ascona and on the lake. The bar was really cosy The welcome drinks were a nice touch

The beds were definitely too soft for us.

Good location and conveniently integrated in town.

The showers water pressure is not too strong and the position could be higher for taller people.

My boyfriend took me there as bday gift and couldn’t have been better, loved the artsy concept, loved the breakfast and the idea of going your own eggs and crepes, amazing view and location
