It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay.

The villa is beautiful and perfect for a family. It has all kinds of activities and games for kids and a pool. it is within walking distance of Ascona and just a short bike ride (which are available at the villa) to the river where there is a park with a playground and place to go swimming. The women who are in charge of the villa are extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the first second. We would reccomend this villa to anybody looking for a great place in Ascona.

the only small “downside” was the extreme heat. We went during summer vacation time and it was very hot as the rooms have no AC.

Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

There was nothing that I can complain about that is under the control of the Hotel. I mean it rained quite a lot on one day, but that's it.

Best of both worlds: large apartments, hotel service, large beautiful garden, nice swimming pool. A very cozy place , very little people around, very friendly staff. Walking distance from Ascona. We were in a rush while leaving and forgot few things at the hotel.. and they sent those back to our home address without any fees.

a bit outdated furniture.. and wifi wasn't equally accessible in all rooms... but that's a minor detail.

Lovely staff, beautiful place, welcoming and really great for our daughter! We loved it!

Only issue is lack of air con meant during the heatwave it was really hot at night but appreciate this was an exception during really hot weather!

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature, right next to a forest; very child-friendly! Very clean, colourful and cosy apartment!

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable! There were no summer blankets provided.

Wonderful oasis with gorgeous backyard garden/pool, beautiful setting, and exceptional staff. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful to have that option before we left.

Being from the USA no AC- we are used to it everywhere. Not a big issue really ( mainly for our kids, hahaha)

Absolutely beautiful Garden and swimming pool. The rooms have everything you need. Personal were very friendly and helpful. Free parking available, Bus station close by. Really enjoyed a relaxing time

Great location, superb garden and super friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Siesta. Add: great breakfast and free bike rental to explore Ascona, Locarno and the valleys.
