It's a little old hotel, your expectations should be in proportion to this statement. Yet, it's spotless clean, in a perfect position for visiting Lugano, quiet and comfortable: comfi and large bed even in a single room, good matrass (mid-soft). It's old style, and not for you if you are an IG traveller. If you on the other hand are a conscious traveller, please support this kind of establisments! They are slowly disappearring and that's not good for the business.

Just a little bit of attention to mantain the property would be gold. Little things, not much.

The furniture is old stylish , it’s seen that some things need reparations but for quality /price ratio this hotel is still unbeatable for Lugano

Personnel super Nice. The location is perfect close to the lake and to the funiculare. Despite a bit old, rhe hotel is super clean and it a was perfect for us.

Reality is that there is no parking at the hotel ( it was written dans there is). We had to park in a public parking and it was more than OK ( just that we had to pay for it)

The hotel itself is in Lugano Paradiso, it is a little bit far away from Lugano Centre. But I would recommend to stay in Paradiso since it is near the lake with splendid view. In booking the photos seem quite old-fashioned but in reality it is much better. The room and facilities were new. The room and bathroom were spacious. We were served fresh breakfast. The lady who worked there was very friendly and helped us a lot in providing blankets and sockets.

The staff and the owner of the hotel are very helpful and they upgrade the room once they know that the Wifi is not good in our reserved room. The location in Paradiso is highly appreciated. The location is very close to the train station. It saves time and money to go to different important places like Monte San Salvatore, Swissmanutour, lake toures,.... The room was comfortable with a perfect balcony but the pillows has to be less soft. When I will go back to lugano I will reserve again a room in this hotel.

Great location, there is a bus stop and multiple markets nearby. Good, considering the price you are paying. I would stay again. I can't say anything about the breakfast as I haven't tried it. Everything else was okay

Room was cleaned daily, however there was a lot of dust collected under the bed (I didn't notice until I checked it for something I dropped)

Good location and friendly staff. The family members loafing around and the somewat old-fashioned interiors reminded me of family vacations in the 70s, so much nicer than the impersonal sterility of the large chains. They facilitated my late decision to include breakfast without a problem. And all that for a very competitive price!

My room offered no view of the lake or mountains, just the house next door

A modest walk from the Lugano Paradiso station and the lake. We found good restaurants for dinner and breakfast nearby. Lugano Centro station was much farther away.

Our rooms' windows had steel shutters that only opened a small distance, so very little view. Never found out what FREE BUS AND TRAIN TICKET was.

Great location, close to the center of Paradiso, train station, bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants and the lake. The room was spacy and comfortable. The room was clean. The staff kind and helpful. Recommended for those who don't like the noise of Lugano. Very good breakfasts in the bakery nearby.

The bathroom was tiny and dark - additional light would be a plus. The last floor is a private apartment so living just a floor below and listening to the noise of daily routine of the family might be problematic for some guests.
