Everything was amazing: first: the team: just outstanding, from reception, to housekeeping to the restaurant. Kind, professional, thoughtful, helpful and so patient. Second: the cuisine - absolutely delicious and stunningly presented. Locally sourced, a lot from their local garden and a fantastic menu of the day. A special thank you to Lorenzo, the sommelier and our waiter: the best! But really, everyone was amazing. And the breakfast!! So beautiful, delicious and creative, with loads of healthy choices. Third: the location. The view is stunning and perfect for climbing San Salvatore.

I don't know if this is the policy of most hotels in Switzerland. The cooling thermostat of the hotel's air conditioning is set up to a low of only 22 degrees celsius. To some people like myself, I find this too high. Coming from a tropical country, our morning lows are 22-23 degrees C, and we have our air conditioners on at that temperature. The windows in the room were small but this was compensated by a sunroof that surprisingly can be opened. So we opened this up until the room was well cooled and ventilated before closing this up just in case it rained.

The property is located on a hill with a wonderful view over the lake Lugano. You can get there easily by car or public bus from Lugano Paradiso station. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The property has an outdoor pool which is fantastic if you want to relax in serene surroundings. Make sure to book your place for dinner if you want to dine at the hotel, otherwise there are some good restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

For me it was perfect but if you are looking for a place a walking distance to Lugano center you may need to find something closer.

The amenities were absolute delight. It felt like a little paradise tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. The staff were incredibly accommodating. Everything was spacious. Even the hotel's restaurant was delicious! We will definitely go back or recommend to our friends and family.

I wish the shampoo and hand wash were nicer. It didn't seem up to par as the rest of the amenities the hotel provided.

Absolutely stunning hotel. The view from the terrace eating the deluxe breakfast is outstanding. We relaxed by the pool with a vineyard and mountain view…just beautiful, we fell asleep😂. The rooms spacious, clean and peaceful..which was helped by the brilliant individual temperature control. The staff are all impeccable ✨ Would love to return one day 🌺

Nothing at all… just wished we booked the restaurant for dinner earlier. Looked beautiful at sunset. A simple room service like a cheese and fruit platter or sandwiches would have been great…

The view was magnificent, the food at breakfast and dinner was fresh and delicious, the staff very polite and helpful, our room was comfortable and spacious, we really loved the roof window, we really enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend!!!

A bit far from the city center and as I attended a congress it was a broblem to go up and down duringthe day. But the hotel provided us a bus ticket for free and it helped. Thank you!

Minor point but the bar area was essentially the busy thoroughfare between the kitchen and the terrace. I would have better enjoyed a cosy and relaxing bar area located elsewhere in the building

This is just a fabulous hotel; the cleanliness, amazing breakfasts and evening meals, the facilities and views of stunning Lake Lugano. Although the hotel is up on the hill and a pretty long walk from Lugano, you get the Ticino pass, which enables you to get free bus rides in Ticino, which was a welcome perk and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. However, what really makes this hotel so special is the incredible staff and manager. They are all wonderful people who clearly take great pride in this fabulous hotel and want you to have the most wonderful stay, which we certainly did. Thanks so much to Lorenzo, Boris, Alessia and all of the team for your kindness. I'm sorry I don't know all of your names but you are all incredible and I very much look forward to returning.
