We stayed for one night and had a positive experience overall. The highlight was definitely the staff. They were very friendly, respectful, and always ready to help. They were attentive not only to me but to all guests, and I appreciated their ability to assist in multiple languages (English, Italian, German, and French). It really made the atmosphere welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay.

The only thing that felt a bit unusual was the layout of the shower, WC, and handwash basin. With the sink being part of the bedroom, water would occasionally splash on the floor. Not a big issue, just something to be aware of.

I still don't understand why they put music in the hallway, I really don't think it's necessary. It was on also at night and we could hear it when trying to sleep.. it wasn't extremely loud but still I do think it isn't necessary and there shouldn't be music at least from 10pm to 8am.

Great location, and very friendly and professional staff. Very functional room, it was good to have toilet, shower, and sink decoupled into different sub-environments, in our case. I liked the idea of the stickers with the tips to implement more eco-friendly actions.

It was unclear until the end how the lights next to the beds were supposed to be turned on. There was only one plug in the whole room, which made it difficult if you had more than one phone to charge over night (it was a room where three people were supposed to fit).

I love IBIS because you get what you pay for and you know what you are getting every time. This IBIS is no exception. And works great for us. This is a very "fresh" and minimal hotel. Rooms are basic- but enough- and super clean. They are not big, but provide all you need and expect when you are visiting a place and need a place to sleep, keep your staff and have a shower. It is ideal when you are in a few-days trip where you are expected to spend the day out. Oh i love the IBIS shampoo-shower-wash by the way. Would definitely buy it if it was sold! Staff were really friendly and helpful, check-in and out fast, while there is a good storage space for luggage. Breakfast is great, has everything a normal person would normally eat at home even more (which works for me). The building is modern and nice. The location of the specific IBIS is very good. It is well connected with bus with the center, close to the train station of Paradiso, close to the waterfront, and one step from the Funicular of San Salvatore. Ok you don't get an amazing view , but as said before, you are supposed to spend your day out no?

Our room was overlooking an apartment building and we needed to keep the blinds down most of the day.

Great location. Great lobby. I would not do the budget room again but definitely the Ibis as I have stayed there before and found it very good.the only problem with the room was the shower set up

Didn't like how the shower was set up in the room. Didn't give any privacy. A normal bathroom would have been better. Otherwise the room was okay and the rate was way less expensive so so we were expecting very basic

The location is perfect. Very near to bus stop and well connected with main station lugano plus walking distance from Paradiso station. Just 200 meter from lake therefrom boat ride can be done. Monte bre is must see attraction but get through there from funicular train.

No water bottles are kept in the room. Very surprising. Please make sure that water bottles are provided if not hot water kittle.

Location is well connected and 20 min of a pleasant walk to Lugano's city center. It was great with good restaurant around. The breakfast was a good surprise, delivering much more than we thought it would be.

As expected the room is small, but good for the price (compared with other facilities around). The shower is way too small.

The location was fantastic. A short walk down the hill from the train station, just around the corner from the lake and a lovely walk along the promenade into Lugano.

The room was warm and the temperature outside wasn’t hot. Maybe there is central temperature control but couldn’t be controlled in the room.

I stay here frequently due to my work and it is a great value for money. Clean, simple and functionally well designed and set out rooms.

Wi-Fi could be better - that the hotel mgmt needs to work on. As the season started, there should be a Ticino card at check-in but I didn't get any - should be checked please!

Clean room. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast option. Near to amazing lake in spectacular landscape.

Prices of food are so high in the area and it would be great if the hotel could offer a cheaper alternative for evenings. No complaints about the hotel itself.
