Excellent location and great variety in foods and drinks for breakfast, which were also very tasty! The setting where breakfast was served and the view from that place were also fantastic, as well as the hotel's design, which features a lot of light and beautiful paintings! The fact that an indoor and outdoor pool was offered was also great! The personnel were very kind and helpful! After a rainy day, they have cleaned the front windshield of the car! The fact that was coffee in our room was also perfect along with the chocolates and the warm wish card found after the cleaning of the room!

The parking spot in the hotel was extra paid, which is ok, but they put us in a parking spot where neither the passenger door nor the trunk door could be opened! The room was not exactly as depicted in the photos. The indoor pool, which we used upon our arrival and were the only ones there, seemed not to be fully cleaned.

The room was very nice , the bed was very comfortable. The lobby to include the dining area was outstanding! Ilaria was awesome, she provided my wife and I with restaurant options as well as information about Lugano, surrounding areas. The parking garage was clean, spacious and well lit. The breakfast was also outstanding!!! The staff were friendly, they took pride in taking care of their guests. The spread was great!!!

The bathroom could use a little work, it was a little tight. I would have preferred to have seen a walk in shower, stepping into a bath tub to take a shower is not very comfortable. The glass only covered half of the shower, very hard to keep the water in the shower.

First of all, the location is good. It is not far from Lugano Paradiso Station, and there is a bus to downtown Lugano in front of the hotel, which is convenient. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, and most importantly, it is very close to Lake Lugano. The staff were all friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was great, and I can confidently say that there was nothing particularly bad about it. It was very convenient as the "Ticino Card", which allows you to use Lugano public transportation, was included in the price of your stay. Another thing, it is very close to the funicular station that goes up to Monte San Salvatore!

I went there without being able to check the type of electrical outlet in Switzerland. I was confused at first because I didn't have a converter, but the staff lent me one for free so I was able to get by. It would be more convenient if there was a USB type power device.

My dog and I felt very welcome from the first second to the last. The staff was very friendly and there was even a welcome gift for my dog! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious (i ate breakfast and dinner there) and the staff there was also very friendly. The room was clean and absolutely worth the prize. It is possible to park the car at the garage under the hotel. Hotel Admiral is located near the lake and also right in front of the mountain railway of the San Salvatore, which is totally worth a hike too. I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

As I have a reactive dog, for her the rooms were a bit too noisy (even tho the other guests weren't extraordinarily loud). But I don't think that this would be a problem for a dog less reactive than mine is. We still enjoyed our stay! :)

The hotel was an amazing breakfast! They do not have a restaurant for dinner, so we had to walk to the old town to find restaurants. Old town has the feel of Nice or Monaco, all old town apartments which expensive shops underneath. Very pretty and clean. The lake is to die for! Next to the hotel is the funicular that takes you up the San Salvatore. The view from there is stunning!!! The trip is not cheap (nor is Lugano in general) but worth it and the hotel gives you discount tickets.

We visited Lugano for the second time and chose to stay again at Hotel Admiral! The location in Lugano Paradiso is perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the lake and about 20 minutes on foot to the city centre. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and public transport is included for free, which is a great bonus. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bed was absolutely amazing! We also enjoyed the breakfast — lots of variety and everything was delicious.

Very nice hotel at a convenient location close to the lake in Paradiso. The rooms seem to be newly renovated and were really clean and comfortable. The new shower was an especially nice touch! The hotel has a nice rooftop pool, with a great view of Monte San Salvatore. The check-in experience was great with a lovely and helpful staff. I did not get to check out the breakfast, but my girlfriend said it was amazing and the staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Admiral Lugano is a nice reasonably-priced (by Swiss standards) hotel located near the Paradiso funicular and just a few blocks from the lake and the Paradiso train station. The central business district of Lugano is a comfortable 20-minute/2-kilometer walk from the hotel. The rooms are large with a TV, good Wi-Fi, modern bathrooms and, at least for my room, a balcony overlooking the street. The friendly staff speaks English and is always ready to provide advice and recommendations. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Admiral and do recommend it for a short stay. Travel tip: If you're arriving in Lugano by train, get off at the Paradiso train station, not the main Lugano train station. The hotel is located just a few blocks downhill from the Paradiso train station.

Really good and varied breakfast, many options even during longer stay. Good location, easily accessible by train, close to cable car and lake, not far from center. Friendly and nice personnel both at reception and breakfast.

Classic double room a little bit too small for a longer stay. Nowhere to put / hang your clothes. During shorter stays and / or summer, that might not be a problem.

Nice staff. clean facility. There's an indoor pool. nice common area near the lobby where you can sit and relax.

You can hear the noises from the hallway. The room was hot and the AC did not work. I had the AC on but there's warm air coming out that I had to turn it off and opened the window instead. The walk from train station to the hotel was ok because it was going down hill but it was quite tiring from the hotel back to the train station (uphill) especially if you have luggage. There are restaurants near by but not that many selection.
