First of all, the location is good. It is not far from Lugano Paradiso Station, and there is a bus to downtown Lugano in front of the hotel, which is convenient. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, and most importantly, it is very close to Lake Lugano. The staff were all friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was great, and I can confidently say that there was nothing particularly bad about it. It was very convenient as the "Ticino Card", which allows you to use Lugano public transportation, was included in the price of your stay. Another thing, it is very close to the funicular station that goes up to Monte San Salvatore!

I went there without being able to check the type of electrical outlet in Switzerland. I was confused at first because I didn't have a converter, but the staff lent me one for free so I was able to get by. It would be more convenient if there was a USB type power device.

My dog and I felt very welcome from the first second to the last. The staff was very friendly and there was even a welcome gift for my dog! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious (i ate breakfast and dinner there) and the staff there was also very friendly. The room was clean and absolutely worth the prize. It is possible to park the car at the garage under the hotel. Hotel Admiral is located near the lake and also right in front of the mountain railway of the San Salvatore, which is totally worth a hike too. I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

As I have a reactive dog, for her the rooms were a bit too noisy (even tho the other guests weren't extraordinarily loud). But I don't think that this would be a problem for a dog less reactive than mine is. We still enjoyed our stay! :)

We visited Lugano for the second time and chose to stay again at Hotel Admiral! The location in Lugano Paradiso is perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the lake and about 20 minutes on foot to the city centre. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and public transport is included for free, which is a great bonus. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bed was absolutely amazing! We also enjoyed the breakfast — lots of variety and everything was delicious.

Hotel Admiral Lugano is a nice reasonably-priced (by Swiss standards) hotel located near the Paradiso funicular and just a few blocks from the lake and the Paradiso train station. The central business district of Lugano is a comfortable 20-minute/2-kilometer walk from the hotel. The rooms are large with a TV, good Wi-Fi, modern bathrooms and, at least for my room, a balcony overlooking the street. The friendly staff speaks English and is always ready to provide advice and recommendations. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Admiral and do recommend it for a short stay. Travel tip: If you're arriving in Lugano by train, get off at the Paradiso train station, not the main Lugano train station. The hotel is located just a few blocks downhill from the Paradiso train station.

This was a lovely stylish modern hotel with a lovely rooftop bar with a nice seating area. I loved the free olives and nuts with my drink. My room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast was very nice and good quality food and drink options. A male receptionist was very helpful lending me a phone charger. I liked there was a good supermarket 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I also loved 2 minutes away was the great attraction the Funicolare You take 2 carriages to the top of the mountain to see the best views. There is a restaurant and church up there and you can walk higher to different view points. I recommended this hotel for a lovely relaxed stay in Lugano

The restaurant didn't serve dinner and as i was tired from a day of travelling i ended up getting dinner from the local shop which was fine. There was no kettle in the room but there was a coffee machine i didn't use. I found the room cold at bedtime so i was grateful my room had a nice cosy dressing gown.

Nice staff. clean facility. There's an indoor pool. nice common area near the lobby where you can sit and relax.

You can hear the noises from the hallway. The room was hot and the AC did not work. I had the AC on but there's warm air coming out that I had to turn it off and opened the window instead. The walk from train station to the hotel was ok because it was going down hill but it was quite tiring from the hotel back to the train station (uphill) especially if you have luggage. There are restaurants near by but not that many selection.

Really good and varied breakfast, many options even during longer stay. Good location, easily accessible by train, close to cable car and lake, not far from center. Friendly and nice personnel both at reception and breakfast.

Classic double room a little bit too small for a longer stay. Nowhere to put / hang your clothes. During shorter stays and / or summer, that might not be a problem.

The hotel is located very close to the Paradiso train station and about a 20 minute walk along the lake from the city center. It is also located 1 minute from the funicular that goes up to Monte San Salvatore. The breakfast is very good. I received a free Ticino ticket from the hotel, which was very helpful because I traveled for free by train and bus and I also had discounts at certain tourist attractions.

I liked the rooftop pool because it was sunny and you could swim in the cool water. We enjoyed visiting Lugano and seeing the beautiful lake. Our favourite part was visiting the City Center and going to the hotel pools.

everything was awesome.🤩 🙌 ☺️ 👍 😊 👏 😎 but for any of the pools I recommend you guys add a water slide so everyone will have even more fun at the hotel!!! but for now I have nothing to say but that it is a good choice if you want to visit Lugano.
