The view from superior lake view room was exactly the same it was on the pics in booking. Of course better in real. Good quality of food in the restaurant. Quiet area around the hotel. Indoor parking for 18 euro night. Cool location : 20 min by foot to get to the city center or bus number 2 with the stop right next to the hotel

We loved that it was quiet, we felt like we were the only people there at the time which was nice as we got to enjoy the pool and sun loungers all to ourselves :) Also the location is good, it's not that far from the lake and the main strip, also, there is a Manor and Denner shop down the hill which was very good and cherry on top of the cake was the cable car, which took us up to the Mount San Salvatore, which is a MUST DO if you are in Lugano! :)

Breakfast could be better, we missed things like tomatoes, sauces, sausages.. but still we filled ourselves up with what was on offer, and it was delicious :)

The location is great 5-6 mins from the lake and 25 min walk to the center. We were exploring everything without a car. There is a garage for 18 franks a day. There is breakfast for 15euro which is nice, not many things but all you need, even some alternatives for lactose and gluten intolerance. The room and the bathroom were extremely clean, which was very impressive. The room that we stayed in was small but we got lake view, which was nice. They cleaned the room everyday. For this price it was great experience. The staff was also really nice.

Great hotel close to Lugano city center, including a reasonably priced garage (18.- CHF per day). The room was cozy, with a small balcony having a nice lake view. Dinner was incredible and the waiters were very helpful and nice. I highly recommend having dinner and drinks at the hotel, it's really worth it! Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of products and fresh fruit. I will definitely come back if in Lugano area.

The hotel looks a bit old, so it'd benefit from some restoration works. Otherwise, all good!

Located in the Paridiso area of Luganda, a very pleasant 25 minute stroll from the main town centre. Facilities in the room were great and included a small fridge with bottled water supplied. Also a valuables safe. Our room was close to the train line but we were not disturbed by the electric trains. Great breakfast which could be taken inside or on the pool terrace.

A small table on the balcony would help. Parking available in underground garage but a little pricey at €18 per night and you have to check in early to secure a space. No idea where you’d park if you couldn’t get a space!

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, there were plenty of healthy breads, fruits, coffee, cheeses. My room with a balcony and view of the lake was exceptional. The location in Paradiso was perfect for me, a little more quiet than downtown Lugano and near enough to walk to everything in Lugano. I would stay at the Delfino again in a heartbeat. All of the staff, including front desk and dining room staff, were always friendly and helpful.

I spent just one night at the Delfino, during a business trip to Lugano. A 5 minute bus ride away from Lugano train station, I was received extremely cordially at the front desk. The room with a view on Lake Lugano was very clean, functional, everything work and the sockets for my various chargers were also easily accessible (still an issue in many hotels). Very good mattress! Check-out again was very cordial and efficient. I'll be back.

Clean, reasonably priced, excellent location (10 minute walk to funicular railway, shopping/dining areas, lakeside activities). Large, comfortable bed. The swimming pool was a great way to refresh after a hot August day.

The hotel could use updating. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring. Rooms are a bit on the small side.

The trip was excellent. I was only there for one day but I have to say that the value for money is just perfect. The location is close to the waterfront and within walking distance to the train station. There are great restaurants nearby. Loved the minimalistic but cozy room. Nothing extra. The view from the balcony is super!

Friendly staff and the breakfast buffet is good. The location is pretty good, just a bit of a walk from the old town. Twenty minute walk to the train station, but bus stops are also right there.

Just being picky: the room was way too hot and it was hard to find the heat control. The chairs in our room were quite uncomfortable to sit on, but we didn't go to Lugano to sit on chairs in our hotel room.
