We booked the most expensive room we could for our anniversary to gain water views. Unfortunately we had a tree blocking the view of the water. As soon as we enquired about a possible change the hotel receptionist made it happen. We got, in my opinion the best view from both sides of the building. The proximity to the ferry warf was so convenient for someone lugging bags around too.

The spa facilities were a bit dated and the lounge chairs were uncomfortable within. We’ve had way better breakfasts and food in other hotels that were far more affordable. Also with this type of price range it’s filled to the brim with Americans. IYKYK..

The hotel is located at the shore of Lake Como in Moltrasio. They have secure parking and public parking nearby. The building is nice and old and they have nice facilities within the hotel like restaurants, pool, garden and spa. The ferry stop is across the road from the hotel. There is a restaurant near the hotel that do breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. A special thanks to Roshan who was a helpful staff during our stay.

There is no ironing facility within the room and you have to go to the iron room to iron. I wished the breakfast options were more but they were nice and fresh.

The location is perfect, you're a few minutes away by boat from the busy city of Como, while staying in a quiet spot with amazing facilities and views. Helpful staff, parking is available, and the pool views are unmatched.

Our room had amazing views from the balcony but we were only able to use it for 2 days out of 4 after we noticed an excessive amount of small and large spiders hanging from the top of the balcony and weaving webs all over the table and chairs. Drinks at the hotel and pool are too expensive (EUR 18 for a single shot cocktail) but that's what you get with similar resorts. Parking is available but you'll be charged EUR 25 per night.

The staff was absolutely incredible- everyone was a truly so sweet, helpful and friendly… especially the breakfast team!! Everyone in the hotel began to feel like family by the time we left. They were all so truly lovely and it made my mother and I feel like we were at home! Thank you for the excellent hospitality and the loveliest experience on Lake Como!! We will absolutely be back!! Also the garden in the back is soooo beautiful and peaceful- my favorite part of the hotel. The pianist was a lovely touch as well <3 everything was excellent!

The temperature was stuck at 26 for my whole stay and I did not get any good sleep at all because of this. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and did their best to help us but the temperature of the entire hotel Is set from one point in the lobby- and I was not able to customize the temperature in my room. I was able to sleep with the balcony door open and that helped a lot as it was cold outside.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and welcoming! the views were wonderful and the spa was lovely. The breakfast was perfect and again the staff were wonderful.

It is slightly far away from everything at lake como, we were constantly on the go travelling around.

The hotel is in a great location, next to the ferries and close to Como and other known touristic destinations. It offers good amenities and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Ours had a beautiful view in the lake and the internal gardens. The massage was great and the therapists was amazing!

The breakfast room was a bit cold, but food was good and abundant. The spa was ok but the salt room did not impress me compared to others I tried (seemed more like a normal lounge). The pool was not nit hot enough and two of the four outlet of the jacuzzi pool did not work - it will require maintenance.

Sadly I would have preferred an extra glass covering or shower sheet to stop the water from splashing the bathroom floor , the normal room had one which helped atop the water from going out, so I was surprised that the junior suite didn't which made showering hard without making a splash mess since it's exposed half therefore the water keeps going out.

Very pleasant stay at the Gd Hotel Impériale, staff was very professional and welcoming, and sufficient to smoothly handle several arrival at the same time. Breakfast was various and pleasantly presented with a chef for eggs freshly cooked as you desire, and options for VGs. The highlight of our stay was definitely our 2 dinners at the Imperialino, that highly recommend. on top of breath taking view which mystery and charms develop as the sun goes down, the restaurant headed by a wonderful chef, creative, rigorous, with high esthetic of both harmony of the aromas and the colors, the staff is simply marvelous! Attentive and discrete at the same time, warm and personal. my husband posted several pictures on the Google map reviews !

Inconvenient of the Parket in the rooms is that some un respectful guests may not care and be noisy..

Noisy room - could hearing coughing / people talking Very expensive - room and restaurant Taxi service from hotel to train station was 20 minutes late - I sent an email to management explaining that this was unsatisfactory, hoping that they would give feedback to the taxi company. I never heard anything back from Hôtel management. Apparently, breakfast was included, but this was not mentioned anywhere on the booking. Would be good to have on the booking summary.

Our deluxe spa room was beautiful, clean, and with an incredible view of the lake. The hotel is beautiful especially the old building with the garden, tennis courts and pool area overlooking the lake. The staff was the MOST helpful. They got us everything from transportation, to reservations, to courier services. We would not have survived the trip without the front desk, manager or concierge. They even helped us secure an extra night at the last minute!

The main areas like the pool and dining are beautiful but the lobby and a few other elements (i.e. spa) felt a bit outdated. Understand the area is mostly honeymooners and partners on romantic trips so the area felt extremely quiet and everything closed early. FYI for those not traveling on their honeymoon.
