The staff at Alberi are beyond polite and helpful. Always met us with a smile. Helpful and accommodating all the time. We did not ask for halal meat option for breakfast! They realised that without even us mentioning it and voluntarily provided us with that without any extra charge. Now that’s looking after your guests. I brought this up because this shows how thoughtful they are. The hotel is immaculately placed for all local transport. It’s informed if the best part of the lake! What else can you ask for.

Loved this hotel and the location was amazing! Bathroom was great and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was included and was lovely. Lecco is the most beautiful place to visit.

Would have liked to have access to English speaking TV and Netflix. I could get some English shows but my friend in her room was not able to access the same options. A kettle would be nice to make a cup of tea or coffee. There was absolutely no information on the hotel, how to use things like the TV and nothing about Lecco in the room. Perhaps consider putting a folder with info in the room to assist Lecco's visitors as we had trouble getting information about anything.

We enjoyed a delightful one-night stay at Hotel Alberi. There were many good choices at breakfast. The dining area and our room had nice views of the lake and surroundings. It was the perfect location for our stay. Our room was clean and the managers happily offered to store our luggage the next morning which really helped us with our plans.

This is more of an issue for the city but the cars went fast along the road in front of the hotel, and mostly slowed when someone entered the crosswalk. Perhaps the speed limit could be reduced in such a high traffic to make the area safer for everyone.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and great coffee. The location was fantastic and an easy walk from the train station.

The bedspreads that this hotel uses should be thrown away and just have the nice white bed linen on show. Not only are these styles of bed spreads very dated they don't appear to be hygenic at all. There was a lot of noise overnight due to homeless people living in the car park next to the hotel, but the staff assured me the police are moving them on. This is not the fault of the hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel has an excellent location on the lake in downtown Lecco. The staff (I guess who are also the owners) that work on reception are very nice, helpful and make you feel very welcome. Despite this being a slightly older hotel, the rooms are clean, everything works fine and the air conditioning manages to cool down the room even in a heatwave. My advice, get a room with a balcony facing the lake for some really nice views.

Location is amazing. Staff is very friendly and communication was easy and smooth. I was offered to leave my luggage in a storage for couple hours after check out which was a big plus. Room was clean and spacious,

Breakfast could be a bit better and more various, also bathroom is quite old fashioned and very basic Be aware after 1:00 AM it's impossible to get in as main door is closed in the night after reception hours.

Stayed here for four nights last week. Great location near the beginning of Lecco. Taxi transfer from MXP was $130 euro and took about an hour. Can easily be reached by train as well (two hours from MXP, 40 min to Milan). Family run hotel with friendly and kind staff. Breakfast was plentiful but the same every day (pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, hard boiled eggs and yogurt, etc). Great value and comfortable large rooms and bathroom. Had a room facing the lake which was lovely. Air conditioner worked well and they also have umbrellas to borrow if it rains. Good for exploring Lake como and it’s a 10-15 min. walk from train station. Also close to ferry to Bellagio but be sure to check the times (during weekdays only ferry in morning is 10:15 and the next is later at 2). Can take ferry to Bellagio and then take ferry from Bellagio to Varenna and take the train back to Lecco. Lots of trains Btwn Varenna and Lecco and lots of ferries Btwn Bellagio and Varenna. Also close to Malgate, which you can walk 15 min across the bridge.

The location, the view from the window, clean and spacious bathroom. All in all, it was good for a 3 stars hotel.

The first night, the aircondition was generating noise until morning which made it difficult for us to sleep. Then i asked the reception and they turned it off themselves as it is not possible to turn it off with the control in the room. Also i found a silverfish on my bed when i removed the blanket.

The breakfast was excellent The location was great It was in easy walking distance from the station and close to the boat that goes to Bellagio. There wasn’t a kettle in the room but when we asked they gave us one.A well located hotel close to everything

The curtain over the single door couldn’t be pull around enough to block out the light. The bedside lamps weren’t bright enough

The location was amazing, overlooking Lake Como with plenty of bars and restaurants on the door step and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean.

The bed wasn’t the comfiest and the walls were pretty thin so you could hear quite a lot of noise but we were so tired after a busy day exploring that we slept well anyway!
