the hotel runs by a family and they are aosom, very kind and helpful with everything especially the father he’s a legend, they have a great restaurant, the room was clean and the hotel in a great location if you are looking for peace

Everything was so wonderful and up to the mark. The staff was very friendly. The food was very nice. Breakfast was good. Place and view were breathtaking. Mauro, Silvio, Luca, all three brothers are so loving, helpful, and kind. Had an unforgettable time. Always there to guide. Carol serves the breakfast. She is very kind and friendly. Our room with the front facing balcony was Waooo 🫶 Siria at the reception. She was very knowledgeable and guided us throughout. Everything was so close to the hotel. It's worth paying every penny. Staff were extremely friendly though & even gave us several rides to and from our activities to accommodate us for the lack of transportation in valmadrera

Transportation to & from was very difficult. It was very hard to reach staff at times

The hotel is literally on Lake Como. Unfortunately we arrived during a rainstorm that stayed throughout our visit and this took away some of the view. Low clouds and lots of rain hampered the view but this clearly wasn't the fault of the hotel. I would imagine on a clear day the vista is spectacular. Not many parking spaces but we were lucky enough to find one. The restaurant served very good food and our stay was very good. Plenty for breakfast as well in the morning and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, even offering an umbrella.

Very kind owner & restaurant operator. He helped us with storing bikes in secure place and gave tips where to go paddle boarding. Also good place where to start off many sports (not so touristic as Como itself). All people in the hotel were smiling and happy to help. True place for great hospitality. If we get the chance we come back again.

There isn't anything bad to say about the hotel. The only thing is that if you look for exploring italian cuisine & many restaurants there is not much to find in the surroundings.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, the reception staff were very welcoming and friendly and made feel very at home. The rooms were immaculate and very light and airy. I can not right anything negative about our stay here. Food in the restaurant was superb and the breakfast was incredible as was the service from the breakfast host. The outside terrace where we had breakfast over looking the lake was incredible.

Nothin it was perfect

The view was stunning. The perfect hotel for a quiet getaway with a beautiful view. All of the staff were really friendly and so helpful, going out of their way to provide a good experience. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

No real negatives for us. Valmadrera is a very small and beautiful place, there isn’t much there but this added to the appeal for us. Leccco is close by if you want more activity but with the lake, mountains and how great the restaurant was we didn’t feel the need to venture far.

Beautiful immaculate hotel, perfect location as a base for Lake Como sight seeing. Excellent breakfast choices, and the sea food/pizzeria restaurant is top class. Hotel at the roadside, but no noise at all, wonderful in all aspects, handy for bus trip to Bellagio or Varenna by bus to Lecco then onwards utrain - would recommend. Staff were extremely polite & courteous throughout our four night stay.

Everything. Location, parking, rooms, breakfast and staff all perfect. We used this hotel as a one day stop off from touring round northern Italy and Swiss Alps. Couldn’t have wished for a better hotel. OK it’s not the main part of Lake Como but it’s still quiet and nice views over Lecco and surrounding mountains. One extra point to mention, the adjoining seafood restaurant is to die for. Would definitely stay at again if we get chance.

Couldn’t fault a single thing

Location is superb. Next to the lake with stunning breakfast views from the terrace over the lake and mountains. Breakfast was served with the eggs preferred and fresh juice. Staff was extremely helpful and even the car park was organised by the staff in front of the hotel although the parking place was full. Very clean and funktional hotel. We stayed first only one night and after second night elsewhere (driving around the lake Como) we had to return to this hotel as it was so ❤️. Warmly recommended.
