Fantastic and experienced staff/owners who completely understand how to greet, meet and deal with guests. Fine breakfast, eggs and toast made individually for you. Everything else you could want, breakfast room overlooking lake with panoramic views. New restaurant about to open we will return to sample, I expect and predict it will be excellent. Bedrooms beds are comfortable, mini bars with all contents more than fairly priced. Fantastic views of lake, a pleasure to visit this Hotel.

Everything perfect.

This property is perfect, the names gives it away, but we really did have a ‘beautiful Vue’ from every window (inc the breakfast room) and from the large balcony we had for our room. The owners go above and beyond to make sure they look after you, all the small touches, such as greeting you in & out of the property. Being hands on at breakfast to help with coffee’s and they make the best scrambled eggs you have ever tasted. Amazing stay, you must book to really see this place, great location to get around Lake Como. Local restaurants near by and ice cream shop 🥰👌

The only thing which could be developed on is there is no air con in the rooms. But they do have fans and all windows open. Don’t let this put you off though as it is such a small thing, for this amazing place and the excellent experience you will have 🤩

Loved everything whilst staying at this charming lake side hotel. Stunning views from our bedroom. Slept really well in comfortable beds and breakfast each day was a delight with so much choice- amazing eggs . Carlos and Christina were always working hard with a great smile and a warm greeting to make you feel so welcome. We loved using the ferry to visit Bellagio and other lakeside towns but always loved returning here - it’s quieter than other towns which we much preferred. Easy 5 minute walk to several local bars and restaurants.

Everything was perfect for us

The owners were very helpful. The husband walked me to my room and showed me where everything was. They told me of places to go. The last day of my stay, I had to leave well before morning breakfast was served. They would have served early, but I was leaving much earlier than was reasonable. I did not expect them to accommodate me, but appreciated their trying to do so! The hotel is next to the lake. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, but it was a short walk to town. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Next year, we will stay there for much longer.

My wife and I stayed at Bellavista Valmadrera over Easter for our anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The entire property was spotless—tidy, clean, and clearly well cared for. It’s a peaceful, quiet place that allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning, and we really enjoyed the restaurant connected to the hotel—it was a great touch having such quality dining right on site. The free and secure parking was a big plus, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special occasion. Highly recommended.

Our hosts! We received such a warm welcome, and that personal attention continued throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean throughout the shared areas, and out room was exceptional. We had a Lake view room, and the terrace was perfect with views to die for! Breakfast was excellent each day and we were offered everything we needed and more. Our hosts were again very warm and friendly and their attention to detail was much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The lake view from the room was stunning. The breakfast plentiful and delicious with a nice variety but a special shout for the scrambled eggs. And my wife says the coffee was the best. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and our dog was made welcome. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the lake. There are bars and eateries but without the chaos ofa place full of tourists. There is a great value boat that will take you to Lecco (5 mins) and Bellagio (1 hr 30 mins). The boat is reccomended as you get great views.

When we first walked in we were not so sure, however the end result was a really lovely place to stay. The hotel was neat and clean, a little on the dated side however the friendliness and the position took care of any doubts. Being on the lake and away from all the big tourist spots was perfect. It was towards the end of a quiet street but with a restaurant at the property plus another 3 to 4 only 5 minute leisurely walk, it really was a lovely spot to wake up of a morning open the curtains and there is the lake, wow what a lovely spot. We had our own vehicle to get around which makes things easier but you can walk into the local town of Lecco (yes, very tight roads so a little hairy). But then take one of the ferries on the lake being only 500 metres away and travel the lake is hard to beat, wow. If you are not wanting a 5 star property and also not be surrounded by 1000's of tourists, this is a good spot to see the lake and surrounds.

We had to hand the room key back each time we left plus had to be back by midnight, a little unusual but not that it affected our stay. Other than it is a little dated in style, all that is forgotten if you have a room with a balcony and the view you get to enjoy.

The hotel is a three star hotel but it should be categorised as a five star one, one extra star for the fabulous location and another star for the friendly, good humoured and helpful owners and staff. There’s a real personal touch here, something absent from most hotels and the name BellaVista is so accurate. The view from the balcony of our room was show stopping. Very clean, very comfortable, great restaurant, breakfast and quiet with a boat trip on the lake a walk away; close to Lecco and bus stops to the surrounding area. Alessia and the owners were just great, really added to our time there.

Our stay at Bellavista Hotel in Lake Como has been amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The best part is how peaceful it is—unlike other crowded places, we had a bit of privacy, which was perfect since we brought our 7-year-old son along. And the location? Right in front of the lake! The views are absolutely stunning, especially during breakfast. Just that, the additional bed for our son wasn't really comfortable—it was a bit bending. But everything else was lovely! We loved how clean the room was!
