The hotel is extremely charming, and its location right on the road is absolutely astonishing. The balconies of the rooms are beautiful. They offer breathtaking views and leave a lasting impression. It's a true gem overlooking the lake. The staff, who are part of a family-run team, are very welcoming, guest-friendly, and full of positive energy. When I asked for a restaurant, they recommended other places instead of their own. This reflects a thoughtful and open attitude.

The breakfast was good, though not excellent, but the coffee was very good.

The hotel is located at a very quiet section of Lake Como in a romantic setting, protected by several beautiful old pine trees. It's a beautiful and well kept old building is tended with lots of love and care by its owners and staff. It featured a splendid breakfast with lots of culinary options. We found the staff as well as the whole facility was more like **** than ***. It is most likely that one star got removed due to the building lacking an elevator. Everything else, including the very classy dinner that we treated ourselves to, was according to **** or even more. The view from the dining room is exceptional and gives you a true romantic holiday feeling!

The room, although really beautifully designed, very comfortable, with a wonderful private terrace and meticulously clean, is slightly cramped for two people. As we don't mind being close, this wasn't a drawback for us. The hotel is on the shady east side of the lake, so a little cold once you step out of the building in winder (we were there in February), but in summer this is most likely to be a great advantage as you will be able to sleep in cool temperatures without applying aircon

The staff was very friendly and made me feel like home. The room was nice and the breakfast very good. The location was also very nice, calm but still easy to reach.

The only unpleasant surprise was that on both nights of my stay (thursday-friday) there were wedding parties in the hotel. This meant that the main terrace restaurant with the lovely view to the lake was not available for hotel guests as it was reserved for the wedding parties. The music was really loud too on both nights until midnight (came through earplugs when tried to sleep). I had booked this hotel for relaxing watching the lake views in a calm place, which did not work because of the parties in the hotel. I would have appreciated if the hotel would have told about this in advance.

The service was amazing, all staff go above and beyond. It’s also well worth having dinner in the restaurant, the food, wine and service were impeccable. Plus the views are amazing!

You need to plan your days quite carefully if you don’t have a car, taxis are very expensive, we mainly walked and got the ferry when we ventured out but the ferries finish in the early evening.

We had the most wonderful 2 night stay in the hotel. The setting is beautiful. Very romantic and just so so pretty. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and always with a smile. Breakfasts are exceptional and the dinner was so delicious and very special in the most beautiful setting. Once again the service staff were exceptional. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Beautiful family run hotel, nothing too much trouble, exceptionally welcoming, helpful & friendly staff, setting a table for us at restaurant when arriving back late, insisting on carrying cases, to & from rooms, knowledgeable in all areas, beautiful views from hotel terrace, lovely private terrace, would definitely return.

Small room but large terrace & cleanliness made up for it

Very nice staff, amazing restaurant and nice rooms with a gorgeous view out of the large balcony. Delicious decaf cappuccino !!

Breakfast was very limited and I felt uncomfortable eating the eggs that were not being constantly warmed. The hotel was very far from where I wanted to be. No elevator but the staff will help carry the bags up. But I felt bad having them carry the large suitcase I had with me.

The location for seeing Italy in all it's glory is unmatched.

The staff were extremely helpful and so pleasant. By the second morning they had remembered our breakfast order. The hotel location is amazing with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The quality and value for money at the Michelin star restaurant was outstanding.

Not good value for money. Location at the end of town and by the lake suggests peace and tranquillity. However, during the weekends it is a popular wedding venue so expect lots of people and noise till late at night. It seemed a bit understaffed, as the lady at reception also served breakfast. Besides, they didn’t seems to be able to clean properly between the weddings and the stairs were constantly dirty.
