This was our WOW stay in Italy. Brand new hotel. Balcony views are stunning. Shower is a spa shower with waterfall shower head as well as removable handheld option. Room is small, but functional. Liked that we had a small fridge. Across the street is a BEAUTIFUL park - great for walking or running. Spa on site was fantastic. Gym was basic, but got the job done. Wifi good and worked on entire property. Included breakfast was awesome! The manager was on point. Have many options and will cook additional options if they do not fit your needs. Lisander Restaurant - unique dining experience!

Couldn't get the AC past 23 degrees. Seemed a bit stuffy for us. Pretty sure the hotel has it set that way. Parking on-site (25euro per night). Great that it's there! A little tight.

The Hotel is located in a lovely place in front of Lecco (i.e. Malgrate). There is a fantastic view on the lake and the mountains around. The Hotel is totally refurbished according to the highest standards. Breakfast is good. We had dinner at the restaurant/pizzeria outside that belongs to the hotel and it was perfect. Staff is very nice and dedicated and services provided are excellent. I do recommend.

Easy access from the road to secure parking with lift access but a couple of stairs to negotiate....Nice room with a small terrace, albeit with no real views! Pleasant reception staff and we were shown to the room, which proved necessary and it was sometimes difficult to find it again! The architecture is very modernist and the doors all looked like fire doors and the signage could have been better! The roof top terrace was stunning!!! We were served drinks and snacks by friendly staff who attended via views from cameras! There are a few restaurants along the lake front walks, and a good restaurant opposite the hotel itself. The hotel is pet friendly and its location good, close to Como and Lecco! Breakfast was OK with attentive friendly staff, but could have been better given the expense of the hotel itself. Friendly bar staff.

We found some of the lighting in the room difficult to manage with the digital switches, and unfortunately really hated the bathroom design, with the wash hand basins open to the room with shower and toilet doors each side. That wasn't for us! Unfortunately the vegetarian option at dinner in the restaurant was very poor; this was conveyed to staff at the time!

The hotel needs to check their procedures for pre-autorisation of credit cards. Numerous exchanges with the hotel before arrival because they could not do the pre-approval of my credit card(s). Finally I had to fill in a form and send. But when they asked again for the same form when we checked in.. And payment was no problem. Make sure that you specify if you want a view of the lake ; balcony may be towards inner courtyard. Quite pricey. Parking in the hotel garage is best suited for smaller cars - some of the spaces are very tight and especially the exit.

The breakfast was excellent. The location perfect.

Free Parking available around the block, which considering the rainy conditions was less than ideal but you can get paid parking either provided by the hotel itself or in front in the blue parking bays.

Everything was ok. A big plus to the staff at the reception (except the guy with the parking problem) and the girls at the breakfast!

The guy at the reception when we were checking in, he insisted so much in moving the car to another parking place when he should normally give us the keys so we cand take the luggage to the room and then get down to move the car. He was so desperate to move the car now, now, now! Not a good start for us with this guy. Also watch out that the underground parking entrance is not suitable for lower cars, you can damage your floor there!

The hotel design and architecture was very nice. We really enjoyed the Rooftop terrace for evening drinks and the restaurant across the road done good food.

For the restaurant staff not to be so rigid the unique selling point is that the hotel is lake side. If hotel guests want to drink coffee and not order lunch they should not be sent back to the lobby where there is no view. Especially if we ordering dinner in the evenings and are regular guests.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Promessi Sposi. Everything was just perfect. The view, the design, the layout, the food, the staff, everything is a lesson on how things should be done. Oozes style and class without being stuffy. Modern design but still calm and relaxing. It's really well located in Lecco which is our favourite place to base ourselves in when visiting Lake Como.

We didn't like having to leave. We've vowed to stay there again. Maybe would have been nice to be able to make our own drinks in the room, but that's nitpicking.

Location is very nice, views are amazing. Easy to get to the city by public transport, train and ferry just 20 min walking or a short taxi/bus ride. Nice restaurant across the street, helpful staff. SPA area is nice and cozy.

While hotel is great, there're some possible improvements for rooms. Our room was very spacious but didn't have some place to seat except bed. Not enough space to put clothes and equipment (if you came to hike in the area).

Great approach of personnel who enabled last minute change of reservation. Very good location, reachable by train (almost to the end) from Milan. Beautiful views on the lake and mountains. Tasty breakfast with Also helpful and friendly personnel. Wondreful rooftop terrace with bar where they Can Also prepare a small meal.

Room was a little too small, with shower basically in the Room which was not an issue for a couple but could be one for friends travelling together.
