We loved everything about this place! The location is perfect-Malgrate is calm, spectacular and feels safe. The view from the hotel is just unreal- feels deep in nature and relaxing. The room is amazing- the bed is super comfy I slept well every night, has everything we need in a room. The design of the hotel is modern but functional. We love a sense of community the hotel offers- the communal area feels private and practical. Hospitality is 100/10 staff was sooo lovely and helpful, making our stay feel special.

Nothing really. But I do agree with other reviews that the wifi was quite poor, especially in our room. We didn’t bring work so it didn’t impact our stay. And no shower curtain in the bathroom which makes the bathroom floor flooded with water. We managed- but would be nice to have this sorted out for.

Nice modern hotel set in lovely grounds. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice, the staff there were fabulous. Has a swimming pool and deck area, although we did not use this during our stay. Bathroom was fantastic with lots of quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and shower gel. Parking was reserved and good.

No fridge or safe in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room and express requests that you do not bring any food into the hotel. There is a honestly kitchen where you can buy hot drinks, beers wines and soft drinks and snacks. I would have liked to see the hot drinks free of charge. The access was not very good. Getting onto the street level required walking down the tiered gardens is steep steps and through another hotel so would have been very difficult for people with mobility issues. Restaurants were very expensive. We chose to eat out elsewhere.

The place and its surroundings. Transmits lot of calm and helps you disconnect from the hectic world nowadays. The view and totally different story of the typical apartment or hotel. Breakfast very nice and on my birthday they had a lovely surprise for me (champagne and a little cake).

We were missing a safe deposit box in our room. And some paper bin would help as well. There was only one little on by the toilet. We were not happy with check in system, as it’s totally illegal (in Italy as well) to photograph your IDs on the arrival. Neither signed for any accommodation contract in the hotel as a client. There are as well cameras in the hotel, which is acceptable as long as the hotel mentions that you are being watched by CCT cameras. I think some of the norms are not fulfilling it legally and it has to be revised and solved.

This was a gorgeous property with beautiful views, friendly staff and kept very clean. The breakfast was good and the lady serving it was lovely. I enjoyed the facilities of the spa in their sister hotel that they are connected to. The Da Giovannino bistrot was stunning and I can only imagine even more beautiful if the sun was out. I would have perhaps appreciated recommendations for other restaurants to visit in Lecco?

I would have appreciated being told earlier that you can access the property through the (lakeside) sister hotel and then up the garden path rather than being told this after I had walked up the busy, steep main road to access the property! I was also nearly charged for an extra spa visit on check out and I had I not queried this, would have been overcharged - the man doing this wasn’t apologetic when he realised, just rectified the payment. I would have appreciated being able to control the temperature in my room as it got very hot at night and the shower flooded the wet room bathroom which the staff rectified by providing more towels to soak up the water.

A Truly Special Stay! Our stay at Casa Sull’Albero was absolutely memorable and special! From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of warmth and coziness that made it the perfect place to relax. The location and scenery were breathtaking—waking up to such stunning views was a dream. One of the highlights was the breakfast experience; it was unlike anything we’ve had before! The unique way it was presented and the thoughtful touches made it extra special. Everything about this place, from the atmosphere to the hospitality, was simply amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay highly recommended!

The payment issue that i faced, but mistakes happen.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa sull’Albero in Malgrate, right by Lake Como. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a corner room on the first floor, offering spectacular lake views. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the windows were simply breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of delicious options, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were also traveling with our small dog, who was warmly welcomed throughout the hotel, making it a truly pet-friendly experience. Although the hotel is small, we appreciated having access to the facilities of a slightly larger hotel from the same group, located just a short walk away along a beautiful path. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend!

Everything was amazing we would definitely come back here again. The breakfast, the view, the location, the staff, the spa! Amazing!

A fridge in the room would have been beneficial to keep our bottles of water cool. There was also alot of loud music from a neighbouring house on our last night until early hours of the morning. But not the hotels fault

Excellent hotel in a perfect location on the side of the lake. I contacted the hotel prior to the holiday and they booked us into the spa in the hotel next door where we had a great afternoon in the private spa followed by a massage. We ate in the restaurant next door on both evenings of our stay, the first a fine dining menu and the second time we had pizza. Both were great and the staff were friendly. We were in walking distance down to the lake and enjoyed a walk around the lake on a footpath which was easy to follow. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of choice and fresh food.

Really good place in lecco and in perfect location to go for a walk or run by the lake with few good restaurants nearby. Partnering hotel facilities specially roof top bar with amazing views are really worth it. Staff all been fantastic and great selection of breakfast too 😄

Little confused to find the property could be better I guess

The view outside the hotel was breath taking. Breakfast was nice, the staff was very friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfy. We had a room with a garden view so unfortunatelly we couldn't see the lake direclty, but it wasn't a problem.

The problem appeared in the morning when people started to come down to the kitchen/ breakfast room in the early morning hours. We had our room 101 located wall to wall with the coffee machine area... and from early morning hours we could hear constant 'drilling' sound of coffe machine. It wasnt so good - especially when you want to have a longer lay-in. Also the tv only had italien channels - a bit annoying when you want to chill in the evening and watch a movie :D
