Exceptional service and warm atmosphere – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attentiveness made me feel truly cared for. The room was spotless — everything was exceptionally clean, neat, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and every detail showed care and professionalism. A special highlight was the restaurant. Dinner was an absolute delight. I’d like to give special thanks to Maria, our waitress, who was simply amazing — kind, always smiling, and extremely courteous. She made every dinner feel like a special occasion. Overall, I was very impressed and truly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely great service.

A truly unforgettable stay at Hotel Lago👌🏻 Everything was perfect from the breathtaking lake view to the clean, cozy rooms and peaceful atmosphere. What really made the experience outstanding was the kindness and warmth of the staff. Special thanks to Roberto for his professional and heartfelt service and to the wonderful Bosnian lady from the team (I regret not remembering her name). Her kindness and sincere care made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was fresh and delightful, and the entire stay was full of beautiful moments. Thank you all for such a lovely memory I will definitely come back again soon, and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Como.

Delicious breakfast - amazing range of fresh fruit and a lovely variety of choices of pastry, proteins etc. Really nice coffee and stunning view on the terrace where we ate. The room was lovely with an incredible view of the lake from the bed and a lovely terrace to sit and enjoy the scenery. Great shower! Super comfy bed. Really enjoyed the walk into the town square through little streets and the recommendation of a place to eat supper was a great one.

The hotel is on the road, so it can be noisy with cars passing. There is a really ugly hotel below this one on the opposite side of the road... it's not a huge problem, but it's a shame it's there!

Everything was perfect! Roberto and his daughters helped with our luggage and greeted us warmly when we arrived. Our room was beautiful, spacious, modern, comfortable and smelled so good. The view of the lake from our room was amazing. We had dinner at the restaurant that had a veranda and a sunroom facing the lake. It was very beautiful. The next morning, we were delighted to see the colorful, fresh, delicious breakfast spread. We enjoyed the food so much. The hotel also had a parking space. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lago to anyone asking for a place to stay around Lake Como. Please keep up the good work! We would love to come back one day.

Friendly staff, especially Ricardo (proprietor’s son) and Danilo. The view from the room was as advertised. Stunning day and night! Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruits and viennoiseries. Our room was modern and clean. Place was easy to find.

We didn’t know the property was in front of the main road (SP583) so you can hear cars go by during the day when on the balcony. Also our room was next to the dining area. This was not ideal because there was a loud couple after a few drinks one night. Otherwise the room was mostly quiet with good sound proofing. One thing: the room design maximizes the beautiful view from the bed. That basically left the rest of the space in the room a void because the rooms were quite large. It was just a quirky room design. Bathroom was very functional and modern. We had a small drainage problem in the shower. But luckily the proprietor also lives in the hotel so he fixed it in no time. Thank you Signore and Ricardo.

At check-in we were given clear information and the staff walked us around the hotel to show us how to open the front door, where the restaurant and bar were and how to use the room facilities. How refreshing! The towels were extremely soft/fluffy. The waitress who served us dinner was extremely helpful and friendly and always with a smile. Made us feel very welcome. This is a great boutique hotel in a great location.

The road outside can be noisy and traffic started early. Be prepared for narrow roads around the lake to access the hotel, but a small price to pay for a hotel with great balcony views in a beautiful location.

Everything was amazing. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. Our room had an amazing view and everything you could want. The shower was large and had a non-slip floor which was wonderful for my elderly husband. The staff and owner Roberto were wonderful. Having a restaurant on site was very good for us, we didn’t want to go looking for a venue at night. All in all the most fantastic accommodation we have had in Italy - and we have been here many times.

not all the 4 star hotels keep this level of standards, a brand new, family owned hotel that the owner himself was very thoughtful, hands on but not in your face. i noticed very delicate things they were aware of and caring for that you cannot see even in 5 star hotels. to me it was so obvious that they care about what they do. Silvia in the reception, was very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed our time there.

The location of the property is in a small village called Torno, literally in the hills and if you are driving to there you should be careful of the narrow roads and also the entrance of the hotel which is in the middle of the road and you can easily miss it. for us getting to know new people and specially locals of each area is very interesting so i am not regretting staying in Torno, but if somebody wants to see Como and/or Bellagio and is not interested in some adventures maybe they should stay in Como/Bellagio and not in the nearby villages. we like walking so it was not a big deal for us, i can say we even enjoyed it but if you don't, you should know that any shop or restaurant is 20 minutes walking away from you. and walking in the small hilly alleys or the road itself.

Our staying in this hotel was exceptional because of the great staff how they welcomed us with big smile and asking us everytime when we pass through the reception if we need something with smile. The room was as same as the picture with the beautiful view. Highly recommended and definitely I will come back to como and will stay in this hotel. I want to say Thank you so much and Grazie 🙏🏻
