The location is fantastic if you prefer local atmosphere above lake-view. Typical north Italian style, good espresso, small grocery shop and restaurant are all combined at this accomodation.

For us it still is a plus in a car free area but be aware you can’t unpack your luggage at the front of the place as this is the hart of the very old centre of this small town the roman entrance walls are too small for a normal sized car. There is a free parking at the entrance of the village for about 50 cars. From there it’s less then 100m walking to the apartments. If you have an old fiat panda or the smallest suzuki jeep you might have a chance coming in….

If you want to experience the authentic Italian lifestyle in a charming small village, this vacation is perfect for you. The apartment is centrally located in Molina, right next to the church, the church square, and a popular restaurant where locals gather to socialize and enjoy weekend events. Very friendly people. Ask for luggage transportation from the parking area to the front of the house. Highly recommended if you are open to see someting different.

Public parking doesn't really work. We did managed to get a parking space, but it was not easy. Not enough closets to put away our clothes.

A charming old-fashion place in a charming little village that takes you a bit back in time. The staff is very helpful and friendly and we felt really welcomed. The rooms are spacious enough, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities but is rather snug (there is a separate dining area in the living room). The building is very old and it is not always perfectly suited for the modern appliances. But this mostly adds to its charm. You have to climb to the penthouse, which is part of the experience and allows you to burn the calories from all the delicious local food.

The streets next to the building are very narrow and you can't bring a family car to the entrance, not even to unload the luggage (which we had). You have to walk up to the entrance from the parking - about 200-300m. The parking is free, but it is a municipal parking and there is not enough space: couple of times we had to live the car in such a way that we were not sure it won't be towed away by the local authorities for parking violation. But as there is no another parking spot in the surrounding area, we had no choice.

The place and location: the village is very cute and the house is great The staff: everyone was super nice and friendly, very available The food: everything we tasted was great. The pizzas were AMAZING.

The village is a bit noisy with the church right across the Piazza - that’s what you get when you go to «authentic » places :) The bed was a little bit stiff Overall it was a great stay and we had a blast.

Loved the Location and Owners. Molina is a quiet village with a great view of Lake como just a short walk from the property.

Finding the property was difficult but came in after 7 pm so cannot blame on owners. You have to park at the bar and walk about 5 minutes to the property.

Everything! Information for the travels: Buses don’t go on Sundays. And the last one is around 7PM coming from Como (during the other days) - so if you choose this one - think about that. Rent a car or check out another day.

Our hosts were delightful and made our stay in Molina very special. Even the locals who frequent the bar/restaurant made us feel welcome and we enjoyed some conversation using Google Translate with them as we speak no Italian and they spoke no English. Our apartment was huge! Lovely windows overlooking the square and a washing machine which we really appreciated! Highly recommend eating dinner with them at least one night - the food and service was excellent! I even got homemade gluten free pasta which I enjoyed very much. The village is very family oriented and everyone knows each other - it was quite nice, made us feel like we were experiencing the true Italy.

The mattress on our bed was well used. We rolled into each other in the middle. If you hadn't made advanced reservations for dinner, you will be out of luck, and the village is quite aways from others, so without a car you could be stuck. Make sure to check who is open for dinner and make a reservation.

This place is a miracle. Just a couple of minutes from the lake there is this enchanted little village. It is authentic, location is beautiful, food is excellent. I can only recommend it.

The 2 bedroom suite was great, lots of room & well equipped. It may not suit everyone as it is at the top of steep stairs. Great little terrace overlooking the church & village roofs.Kitchen is well stocked but bring extra coffee. The little deli downstairs is well stocked & has fresh bread in the mornings, excepting Tuesday, see below if you want to eat at home. Great pizzeria just down the road.

The only negative is the parking. You have to park in the lot at the bottom of the village. Not so much of a problem if you don’t have much luggage. The road up to the Hostaria is too narrow for ordinary cars. However Flavio will fetch your stuff as long as you don’t arrive at 5pm! Too busy! One other thing the restaurant & deli are closed on Tuesdays. Much to our chagrin!

great location, very good restaurant, apartment interior reminded me of my grandma's home but all necessary comfort was available. No complaints whatsoever. There's a grocery store on the ground floor where you can get everything you need for breakfast if needed.
