Our stay at the hotel was good, we absolutely loved the view from our room, it was the best thing about the accomodation. Everything else was fine, the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were pleasant enough. There was a lso a nice terrace for breakfast but as we had to leave early in the morning, we didn't have a chance to take advantage of it.

Unfortunately value for money, which is more of a Como problem in general. Having a shared bathroom for the price you pay is not good value, but there aren't many affordable options in the area unless you are rich.

Fantastic staff, always really helpful. Good, clean, comfy room. Yes its on a main road but earplugs are supplied and to be honest, if you want secluded around Lake Como, expect to pay anywhere from 400eu upwards to over 2000eu a night!! It's quite a walk down to the lakeside but again, the closer you are, the more eye-watering the price in that area so the Bersagliere represents incredible value for money and was a thoroughly pleasant place to stay.

Taxi availibility... but that's not the hotels fault!

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and overlooks Lake Como. A car park is conveniently located just across the road. Those complaining about noise ... well, it's a rustic building, and the owners need to work with what they've got. In return for some inconveniences you get a very affordable stay with lovely staff, a great restaurant and even a breakfast. I don't think there's anything to complain about. We had a double room that shared the shower and WC with 3 other rooms. Both room and bathroom were very clean, and we never had trouble getting into the bathroom when we needed to. All of these four rooms have a small balcony overlooking the lake, and the views couldn't be better. Yes, the hotel is just next to a busy road, but ear plugs are provided if you need them. I didn't need the earplugs, and still managed to get a good night's sleep. It was early November though, so maybe worse in summer. The windows are double glazed. You can hear noise from other rooms, but I guess that's not the owner's fault, you need to hope that other guests are reasonable and won't have loud conversations in the middle of the night. Not a problem at all during our stay. We had Pasta Carbonara and a Pizza Prosciutto for dinner and it was fantastic. Breakfast was basic, but still all you need to get started for the day. The coffee from the bar was brilliant. All in all, I can only recommend the place, and I hope to come back for a long weekend at some point instead of just a short overnight stay on the way through.

Wonderful location. The apartment was 400m from the hotel itself and given the roads along Lake Como a little thought is needed as to getting there and back safely. Once at the hotel the welcome couldn’t have been nicer.

Just a little more thought about practical things for the kitchen please. We needed a tea towel or oven glove to take hot things from the cooker and smaller utensils to stir or lift hot food.

We had a very nice time in the Hotel Bersagliere. Eye catching view of the lake Como kept us there for long time. At the beginning, Management helped me to solve my problem, and Angela was super active, kind and helpful. I parked my car in front of the hotel easily and free of charge. And breakfast was very good in the nice and cozy place. I will choose Hotel Bersagliere again in my next trip. Many thanks for everything ...

The bed was so comfortable, and the cleaners kept the facilities cleaned and were diligent in giving the place a refresh. TV was great. The breakfast was fine and I really appreciated them making coffee for us. WiFi was fantastic. The views were great.

We didn't have a car so we relied on buses to get around. Be prepared for long wait time especially in the evenings and weekends.

The staff made the place and were very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy with good AC and a good view of the lake. There was a private terrace for guest with table and chairs for guest that had a view of the lake. People have complained about traffic noise, we didn't have a problem with noise and had a good night sleep. Breakfast was good.

The evening food was ok, I think they were pre made meals. The car park is on the other side of a busy road on a bend, caution is required. There are 2 paths down to the lake, one is shorter but steep and the other no so steep but longer, it's a good 10 minutes climb.

Unbeatable location on Lake Como- stunning views and a five minutes walk to a beach for swimming in the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The apartment is lovely and authentic with plenty of space for us and our two teenagers for an overnight stay.

There weren't many utensils in the kitchen eg. only two bowls, three forks. Fine for one night but much longer and it might become an issue.

We loved everything! Staff is very polite and helpful! Wonderful view on the lake. Honestly I don’t really understand the bad reviews. This is a one star hotel and I have been in many worst hotel even with 3 stars. Don’t know what people expect more than this! Such a lovely experience for us.

The room offers an amazing view over the lake Como and the mountains behind it. The location is good for exploring the area by car and the hotel has free parking space on the opposite side of the road. The breakfast is ok although relatively modest.

The soundproofing in the rooms Is not particularly good. The hotel doesn't offer dinner and getting to the nearest open restaurant by foot took some time.
