This place is way up the hill from Nesso, and takes quite some time to arrive at. The reason to stay here should not be to go to the lake, but instead, to visit the mountains. Place is clean, has beautiful terraces, great food and friendly personnel.

We stayed for lunch and for dinner, both times it took quite some time before we were attended, as if we were not existing. But after we had ordered the drinks and food were relatively fast. Felt a bit awkward though.

The room and bathroom was huge and spotless. Keeping in mind this is a 2 star hotel, the facilities were great. If you are looking to avoid the huge crowds of the lake and spend a a couple of nights in a pretty and quiet village up the mountains, this is a great choice. Bonus that the family has a great pizza restaurant downstairs. We had to leave before breakfast time to beat the traffic, but the owner still came to make us a coffee and give us snacks and water for the road.

You have to take into consideration that it is quite a car ride up to Zelbio.

Everything! The view from the room was amazing The room was large and comfortable and clean The breakfast was good but the dinner was exceptional and good price. The staff are very friendly Also it is located not very far from the lake. It is prefferable to have a car

The only thing was the church right next to the facility. The bells were ringing every half hour but you get used to it

Lovely view from the terrace in from of the room. Room and bathroom were spacious and nice. Location was great for getting away from the summer heat of lake Como below. Restaurant in the hotel makes delicious food. Breakfast was alright. Parking is possible at the parking lot that next to the hotel. Personnel were also nice and helpful.

Bed was too soft for us but that is quite usual in Italy.

It was a perfect for my need on a rainy day of traveling from the other side of the lake by motorcycle. I could check in before noon which was a big bonus as it was raining. The staff were warm and polite. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious northern Italian cuisine. Good flavors. The price was very fair for what I received. They also allowed me a late check out as it was still raining. Yes, it is a semi steep road with hairpin turns but very easy to navigate. I would return here and recommend it to all my friends.

A very beautiful hotel with a beautiful view! The service was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely return and recommend it!

the hotel is on the hill, you have to go by bus or car to get there, but everything is great

To get there is a climb but the silence is great no noisy roads and the people are great there. The food they serve is great and the staff is very friendly.

It is quite remote so to get there you have to climb up the mountains for 7 km, which is not so fine if you arrive after darkness.

It was good to have dinner at the hotel pizzeria, but there was very little choice.

The walls were thin, and in the evening you could hear other guests talking and children running behaved loudly. We had to leave early in the morning because that day there was an annual rally on that mountain road, which we didn't know before. It was too bad that there was no kettle in the rooms where a traveller could make tea on a rainy evening.

The breakfast was great! The zip line and playground were awesome for the kids. Our room was pretty spacious. Love that parking was available

The beds were really firm. The whole hotel was rather chilly but the owner did give us space heaters to warm up our room.

It’s in the mountains with nice surroundings and has a restaurant and free parking. Ok location if you want to go around the area.

Narrow, steep and curvy road leads to the village from the lake.
