I totally loved this place, it excedeed by expectations by far. The place is beautiful to the small detailed. The rooms are comfortable and so clean with all facilities, the breakfast is spectacular and is served in such a beautiful table, all staff is incredible helpful and nice. The restaurant food is amazing!! and all facilities in the hotel itself our in front of the lake are clean and in very good conditions. I would totally go back.

The only thing if I would say something when you walk from the boat stop, you have to walk on the street there is no sidewalk the road is very narrow so is a bit scary.

The rooms, restaurant & waterfront activities were exceptional! This was the best vacation we’ve ever had. As big foodies we expected to travel around the area looking for restaurants (we did a few times) but every day returned to Hotel Aurora restaurant because the food was excellent! This was our honeymoon trip and staying here felt so comfortable and had a feeling of family with how friendly the staff was. We are avid wakesurfers and had a blast with the crew and also rented a boat for a day. All together highly recommend staying here! We will return soon :)

Nothing bad about this place! We just wish we had hotel souvenirs or something to take home to display from our stay.

I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads. The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus. I would love to come back!

I like to visit places that locals go. Lezzeno is amazing. And Vila Aurora was the best place! They have this incredible lake house and you can rent from kayaks to paddle board or go for water ski lessons. The breakfast is really good and complete. The restaurant from the hotel is really good bu I also recommend a Osteria 100m from there. It’s good to make reservations. We did a 2h boat tour to see the villas around. Staff were really helpful, they booked the restaurants for us and gave us all kinds of help. The room was super clean. We got the room w balcony, I recommend.

When I arrived I complained because my room was on top of the smoking area. They fix it with a sign of no smoking. And it was a great solution.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this villa/hotel and can’t recommend it enough. The staff are fantastic, they are very helpful and just want to make sure you have a wonderful stay, very friendly and smiley. Having the sunbeds and free use of kayaks and paddle boards was a bonus. The rooms are bright and comfortable with beautiful views. The breakfast is everything you could want and more. It’s just the perfect place to stay if you come to lake como, the ferry is just a couple of minutes up the road and can lead you to other towns. I will come back and stay here again and will recommend it to everyone

Nothing, it was perfect.

We'd booked a lake view room, which meant we were in the newer 'villas' across the road. Our room was beautiful, with very calming and relaxing decor, with a balcony overlooking the lake as promised and an amazingly comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom with large shower and an extensive range of complimentary toiletries (better than I've ever seen in a 5* hotel). There was also a mini fridge (replenished with bottled water daily) and wine glasses provided, so you could bring a bottle of wine back to chill and enjoy on the balcony if so desired. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, so much choice and with a lovely, friendly young lady looking after everything. The hotel restaurant, also across the road (and open to the public), was very good - we ate there three nights of the four we stayed. We travelled by car and you can rent a secure garage at the property for an additional fee, which was worth it. I'd definitely stay there again, it was lovely.

There's no lift in the villa rooms. The hairdryer provided in the room had the shortest, curliest cable ever. The only place you could use it was in the high level power point in the bathroom, so that the cable could reach as far as your head, and even then you had to turn to the side to dry all your hair, and the plug kept coming out of the socket! Apart from a very nice, but expensive, restaurant along the road there's nothing else near the hotel, but we got the ferry or bus to other places. We were only there four nights so not too much of a problem.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean. There were many offerings for water sport but our weather did not cooperate. It is difficult to walk along the coast roads of Lake Como because they are very narrow and there is no sidewalk. We drove our car to the hotel but then relied on the bus and ferry to explore the area.

Everyone was very accommodating. We really love our stay there and felt a bit sad to have to move on to our next stay which was Torino.

The location was wonderful. Very close to Bellagio and being on the water was a plus. The food at the lakeside restaurant was wonderful and the sunning area was great for a lazy afternoon or evening cocktail. We rented our own boat for an hour which was a wonderful way to see the area.

There is a bus stop by the Hotel that takes you to Bellagio, however after waiting for over 1/2 hr., when it finally came it was full and when speaking with the hotel staff they said that it was a common problem. I wish we had been told that in the beginning so we did not have to waste time. Fortunately we had a car and driving into Bellagio was easy....parking not so much but we go lucky!

I spent a week in Hotel Villa Aurora and from the moment I arrived I was treated like family. Everyone there is so polite, friendly and approachable. The staff there are always on hand to help with any questions you may have and go above and beyond to find you the best ways to get around Lake Como. The rooms are cleaned to perfection so when you return from your travels it is immaculate. Their Restaurant is situated just in front of the hotel and the staff there are just as great, the food is amazing and has a great view of the lake. The hotel is also perfectly placed as it's a 5min walk from the Lezzeno ferry port which is essential for sightseeing and a 2min walk to the bus stop if you want to get to Como city centre. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! The location was perfect (directly next to the bus stop, close to the ferry, 20 minutes from Bellagio…), the restaurant was INCREDIBLE (the food and drinks were delicious and the staff friendly), the breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, the amenities were so fun for the kids (we swam, kayaking, jumped on the trampoline, played in the floating inflatable island, lounged by the water, the room was. CLEAN and perfect for the 4 of us (large bed and 2 single), the washroom was extremely well stocked with everything from shampoo and conditioners to intimate wash for the bidet, the view was outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The receptionist has to be one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I’ve dealt with in all my travels (and that is saying a LOT)!! We will definitely be back!
