I totally loved this place, it excedeed by expectations by far. The place is beautiful to the small detailed. The rooms are comfortable and so clean with all facilities, the breakfast is spectacular and is served in such a beautiful table, all staff is incredible helpful and nice. The restaurant food is amazing!! and all facilities in the hotel itself our in front of the lake are clean and in very good conditions. I would totally go back.

The only thing if I would say something when you walk from the boat stop, you have to walk on the street there is no sidewalk the road is very narrow so is a bit scary.

A lovely place to stay. Clean, delightful rooms and wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to lake view rooms which was a pleasant and kind surprise and we really appreciated the (free) use of the SUPs and kayaks. Returning home, I realised I had forgotten something of mine at the hotel. The staff were communicative and helpful, immediately located the item and arranged for it to be couriered to me.

The only shame is that the sun is on the other side of the lake and Lezenno is cast in shade for most of the day. That’s obviously no fault of the hotel’s though.

We'd booked a lake view room, which meant we were in the newer 'villas' across the road. Our room was beautiful, with very calming and relaxing decor, with a balcony overlooking the lake as promised and an amazingly comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom with large shower and an extensive range of complimentary toiletries (better than I've ever seen in a 5* hotel). There was also a mini fridge (replenished with bottled water daily) and wine glasses provided, so you could bring a bottle of wine back to chill and enjoy on the balcony if so desired. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, so much choice and with a lovely, friendly young lady looking after everything. The hotel restaurant, also across the road (and open to the public), was very good - we ate there three nights of the four we stayed. We travelled by car and you can rent a secure garage at the property for an additional fee, which was worth it. I'd definitely stay there again, it was lovely.

There's no lift in the villa rooms. The hairdryer provided in the room had the shortest, curliest cable ever. The only place you could use it was in the high level power point in the bathroom, so that the cable could reach as far as your head, and even then you had to turn to the side to dry all your hair, and the plug kept coming out of the socket! Apart from a very nice, but expensive, restaurant along the road there's nothing else near the hotel, but we got the ferry or bus to other places. We were only there four nights so not too much of a problem.

I spent a week in Hotel Villa Aurora and from the moment I arrived I was treated like family. Everyone there is so polite, friendly and approachable. The staff there are always on hand to help with any questions you may have and go above and beyond to find you the best ways to get around Lake Como. The rooms are cleaned to perfection so when you return from your travels it is immaculate. Their Restaurant is situated just in front of the hotel and the staff there are just as great, the food is amazing and has a great view of the lake. The hotel is also perfectly placed as it's a 5min walk from the Lezzeno ferry port which is essential for sightseeing and a 2min walk to the bus stop if you want to get to Como city centre. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location was wonderful. Very close to Bellagio and being on the water was a plus. The food at the lakeside restaurant was wonderful and the sunning area was great for a lazy afternoon or evening cocktail. We rented our own boat for an hour which was a wonderful way to see the area.

There is a bus stop by the Hotel that takes you to Bellagio, however after waiting for over 1/2 hr., when it finally came it was full and when speaking with the hotel staff they said that it was a common problem. I wish we had been told that in the beginning so we did not have to waste time. Fortunately we had a car and driving into Bellagio was easy....parking not so much but we go lucky!

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! The location was perfect (directly next to the bus stop, close to the ferry, 20 minutes from Bellagio…), the restaurant was INCREDIBLE (the food and drinks were delicious and the staff friendly), the breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, the amenities were so fun for the kids (we swam, kayaking, jumped on the trampoline, played in the floating inflatable island, lounged by the water, the room was. CLEAN and perfect for the 4 of us (large bed and 2 single), the washroom was extremely well stocked with everything from shampoo and conditioners to intimate wash for the bidet, the view was outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The receptionist has to be one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I’ve dealt with in all my travels (and that is saying a LOT)!! We will definitely be back!

Nothing, it was perfect

The whole environment: the view, the clean cosy room, the delicious restaurant, really nice staff, the fun server. The stay was really incredible, and even the location had both the ferry and bus stop. The set of soaps and shampoos had a really nice smell. The room was incredibly clean, beige walls and not a trace. Restaurant is recommended!!

The location was quite nice as it was close to the ferry and a bus station. But our vacation period was not during Como's summer season and on the weekend - commuting was quite difficult with the limited timings, which isn't the hotel's fault. Recommendation: either rent or take a car in Como if you have limited timing and want to see a lot!

The room was quaint and cozy, with a stunning view. The breakfast included in the stay was outstanding and provided a whole range of options. The highlight, though, was the hotel restaurant. The Pear Ravioli was out of this world, and the service was incredible. Definitely recommend.

The only downside to our stay was during the night. The noise from cars and motorbikes passing by was extremely loud and the curtains were sheer, letting in quite a bit of light. Eye masks helped with the light issue. However, there's not much the hotel can do about noisy cars, etc — Como just echoes!

We loved the facilities, the VIEW from our balcony, the ‘beach’ and water activities, the boat rental (and affordability). Was able to use the laundry facilities as well. The food at Aurora restaurant was fantastic. This hotel gave us the perfect Lake Como experience and charm and it was just magical. An authentic and quintessentially Italian room with quirk and charm but everything we needed.

Not too much, there isn’t a whole lot around the property however you have all you need on the doorstep. It can be loud from the hallway at night with people coming and going as it is an old building with creaky floorboards.

We went to various restaurants in the lake district. Ironically, Hotel Villa Aurora had the best food in the entire area. But the best part was the fact the Hotel has it's own dock and restaurant. Boating excursions from this hotel were a breeze and easy to set up; as long as you call at least a day in advance. And a great place to stay, if you want to go for a quick swim or just sit around and sun bathe with a nice cold cocktail by your side. This place is truly a self contained slice of paradise. Truth be told, you never have to leave the place. It had everything we needed to make our vacation a great experience.
