On the heights of the Lake, accessible by road by car or bus (day and night if you want to go to Lugano) or by funicular, exceptional view of the lake. Easy and quick contact with Sara. All instructions are given before arrival. The B&B is very clean, very quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful decoration. Small balcony terrace is very pleasant. There is a very good restaurant next door open for lunch and an other one close to the B&B. Excellent and complete salty / sweet breakfast with fresh and quality products. Hiking trails on the heights. Everything was perfect.

I had the best time at Salotto Bre! The location is outstanding up on the mountain with an amazing view and extremely calm. Still it was very convenient to travel there by public transport which is included in the tourism tax but you can also have a hike down to the lake if you are looking for some activity. The breakfast was outstanding with a lot of vegetarian and even vegan options. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant in the same building also is a great option if you would like to have dinner close to the accommodation. I would definitely come again and/or recommend staying here!

The location is charming, on top of the mountain with beautiful views from the room to every direction. The room itself was comfortable, clean & spacious. The breakfast was lovely, not too many options but everything that was there, was delicious. The parking was really easy with easypark app and all the communication with the host, prior to our stay made everything smooth and easy.

This is just something to be aware of, that the B&B is literally right next to a church that starts ringing it's bells quite early in the morning. So close the windows if you don't want a really early wake up call :)

Location was removed and quiet in the lovely small village of Bre'. Sara and Jackie were wonderful in providing service and being so very friendly. Access to Lugano by the funicular or bus was easy. The Bre' art community is represented throughout the village and is charming. There is an excellent restaurant, Grotto, and another opening at the B&B building operated by members of the Grotto family. Loved this accommodation.

The location is amazing for a relaxing getaway. Bre is such a cute, quiet town. Accom was very personal. It is a small room but clean, good shower and cute balcony. Beautiful views on the drive up and on the top of Mount Bre. Breakfast was outstanding and the host accommodated my gluten intolerance!

The room had a portable fan but was still quite warm overnight - would suggest aircon or a larger fan for summer.

Fantastic spot on the mountain.Very clean, nice view, easy access with the instructions so I could arrive at any hour. Lovely breakfast down in the restaurant . Public Parking in front of the property and inexpensive . The building has an elevator !

My bathroom was separate from the bedroom. Access through the corridor where other rooms where located. Bathroom did not have private lock so other people could access it .

The village Bré is beautiful and quiet and is high above Lugano. Sara is a gracious and charming hostess who was helpful on local information. The breakfast was generous and the dining room lovely. Highly recommended, I would stay again

Bré village has 2 restaurants only and both closed on Mondays. The bus arrives and departs once an hour. Neither of these things detract from the stay but need to keep in mind.

The management was super responsive to our change in check-in time and making sure we had every thing we needed even though we arrived very late. The breakfast was fantastic - the best of our entire trip!! We loved the modern, bright room and having a balcony to enjoy the view even more. We really appreciated being able to store our bags so we could explore Monte Bre after checkout. We loved lunch at the restaurant when we returned to collect our bags.

We had a hard time keeping water contained to the open shower.

The location is perfect, a very nice little town with amazing views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the small room was clean and the bed comfy.

I didn't realise I booked a room with a shared bathroom, I always avoid that and next time I will make sure to get my own bathroom. It was my mistake not theirs and I must say the shared bathroom was clean and good sized, so no complaints.

Very cozy, clean, comfortable and made me feel like a true guest here! There are a lot of small details that will make you smile and that just show that owners put a lot of their heart in establishing it. Owners were also super helpful! If you are hesitating to take a room with shared bathroom, don’t be - it is like a normal bathroom, is 2 meters away from room door, very clean, shared only between 2 rooms and during 2 day stay I did not have a situation where I could not access it.

If travelling by public transport, you’ll need to plan, as bus to/from this BnB goes only once per hour.
