directly across the street from the Locarno train station and bus circle. firm and comfortable beds with a nicely renovated bathroom. the view from the lake view room with balcony was great. good price for the location close to Locarno's lakeside promenade and the Piazza shopping area. perfect for people who have a lot of luggage or first time visitors to get to know the area.

the lake view rooms with balcony sit directly above the noisy main street and train station. it was hard to sleep without closing the doors. rooms with a mountain view would be much quieter. the juice selections on breakfast buffet were extremely watered down.

The location is excellent for getting around the area being right beside the train station / bus stops. Nice views of the lake from the bedroom (4th floor)... probably even better from the 5th or 6th. The hotel was renovated two years ago so everything is new and clean. Bathrooms are "compact" but well designed and fitted.

Being right in the centre of everything meant that there was considerable road noise even when the (new) double glazed widows were closed.

Breakfast was excellent. Very convenient location - only 50 metres to the train and bus station. Mini fridge provided in the room, daily house keeping. Early check in - which was a great help. Very close to restaurants, water front and grocery stores. Ideal place to stay in Locarno if you go to Valley Verzasca and the village Foroglio.

Great location, right opposite the train station. The balcony was cute and the view is just amazing! There was some noise, but it didn’t bother me that much when we had the balcony door closed. The price is really good for Swiss standard. I would stay here again if I go to Locarno next time.

The bed was a little low and didn’t feel very comfortable.

Everything was meeting my expectations. The receptionists were always very friendly. I arrived far earlier than the check-in time, and I was able to go into my room, as it was ready. I especially liked the cleaning lady, she was very nice and excellent at her job.

Excellent staff, delivered electric kettle and cups to the room upon request, small refrigerator. Across the street from railway station, but no real noise from that. Balcony was great, filtered view of lake. Clean. Well situated, convenient for public transport and close to centre of town.

Bed not comfortable, two singles put together with a gap in the middle divide.

The location of the hotel is perfect for traveling to different places around Locarno and beyond. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was perfect. We got the Tessino pass, which was very helpful to travel on buses and trains during our stay with no cost.

Hotel is just across street from the train station and many buses, so very convenient if someone wants to explore the area by public transport. Also old town and lake are just few minutes walk away. The room is simple but has all what is needed. Breakfast is basic but ok. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate.

Unfortunately the balcony is facing quite busy road, so it is a bit noisy.

Good location, right next to the train station and close to the lake. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Good selection of mini shower gel/soap/tooth brushes. Everything thought of. Good night sleep.

perfect location, great value for money, simply but comfortable, basic breakfast (ham, cheese, eggs, jam, butter, bread/toast/cake, croissant, fruit, no veggies, coffee/tea/water/soda)

first day there was not enough ham and eggs for us to eat even we were more then 1hour before the breakfast end time
