A Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this hotel was simply wonderful from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the exceptionally professional staff at the reception. The same level of service continued throughout – in the restaurant, and especially in the spa, where everyone was attentive, friendly, and highly competent. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail in both the rooms and all public areas – cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful, newly designed spa area – stylish, modern, and incredibly relaxing. The massage was truly outstanding – professional, soothing, and deeply relaxing. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, offering a wide selection of fresh, high-quality options, from local specialties to international favorites – there was something for everyone. The location of the hotel is ideal – right next to the funicular, making it perfect for exploring the area, while still just a short walk from the town center. In summary: a truly exceptional stay in a hotel that combines quality, style, and warm hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Room was perfect for 3 and the view was stunning. Location is amazing as well as amenities. Pool and jacuzzi as well as the garden with all activities is a game changer when you have kids. Housekeeping is on point. Front desk mostly locals are helpful and full of great suggestions. We biked from the hotel to Ascona and they did prepare everything for us. Garden is a gem. Keep up the good work!

The view from the balcony was exceptional. During our stay, the weather was cloudy and raining. But we could enjoy our time in the sauna, the swimming pool and in the balcony looking at the view. The breakfast was great. The staffs were kind. I highly recommend dinner at the restaurant. Everything was just great. We would like to visit one more time, especially when it's sunny.

Great location not far away from the Locarno train station in quiet place with a nice view over Locarno. Very good breakfast selection. Very clean, and all equipment is in a perfect condition.

A bit noisy, one can hear neighbours talking. If someone smokes at the balcony, the smoke is polluting the air in the room - not very pleasant. Somehow lazy service in the restaurant at breakfast. Also why not to install coffee / tea station so people could serve themselves tea and coffee freeing up personnel time to better serve clients?

Beautiful historical hotel with lots of nice extras such as complimentary pickup from the train station, free coffee and homemade biscuits in the room, an Italian Colomba cake left in the room on Easter, free yoga classes and a phenomenal wellness center.

We were hoping for a slightly better view (a building in front blocked part of the lake)

Perfect stay. Everything was supremely comfortable and clean. The pool and spa area was a real highlight. Breakfast was superb. Staff was great. Location right next to the funicular up to Madonna del Sasso—and a luxuriant waterfall—was lovely.

The room could have benefited from a little more color or some art, but that’s the only slightly negative comment I can make.

Great view from the room. Exactly as shown in booking. Clean. We only stayed one night and wished we stayed longer to use the facilities. Restaurant was really good for dinner and breakfast. The best coffee I had during this holiday trip.

It was a bit dated. Needs upgrading. Pool opens too late and closes too early.

Excellent room, large bed, comfy mattress and pillows. Large enough bathroom with clean towels every day and great shower. Decent size balcony with great views. Lovely garden areas and interior decor. Excellent staff.

Location was breathtaking, view from our balcony to the lake was the highlight of the trip. The room was large and comfortable including a small loveseat sofa (fits 2 snuggly) and a separate chair. Breakfast was very good. The walk to the main plaza was just a few minutes away downhill. Staff was very professional and willing to help on any questions we had! Parking is inside the hotel itself, it's a separate charge per day. Would recommend without hesitation, would love to be back soon!

Unfortunately just a useless temporary fitness room set up. Hopefully the soon to be opened new fitness room will be properly equipped and hopefully it’s available to use early in the morning (or 24/7). Opening firstly at 8am is way too late if you wish to train before breakfast or checkout.
