The room was a decent size, clean, with enough storage, a safe, a professional Nespresso coffee machine and the bed and pillows were confortable. A balcony with a ashtray and a beautiful view. The hotel has a pool and a lake access, perfect for summer and the view from the pool was amazing. I’m not a fan of buffet breakfasts but, between the Gorgonzola, the dispensers of farmers honey, the fresh orange juice machine, the fresh bread and pastries, all sorts of teas, eggs, cereals, nuts, etc and the different types of coffee you can order, this one is devine! The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Room was comfortable and clean. Front of house staff were professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious- they had everything from multiple types of bread, cereals, cold cut meats, the classic fry up components and fresh squeezed orange juice. Location is great. We had a lake view and it was spectacular.

Hair dryer is the classic stuck to the wall type, weaker than a woman with long hair would like.

Excellent staff in the restaurants and in the bar. Nice breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the restaurants, the pool and the bar. The view from our room was also excellent. Organized front desk staff.

Food situation is strange for a hotel this size. You cannot get any food at all between 2:30PM and 7:00PM. The website says that they have food in the bar, but they do not have any food in the bar after 2:30PM for the rest of the night. You have to go down the street to one of the cafes to get anything to eat. And room service is only available when the restaurant is open after 7PM or at lunch. Naturally we arrived at 2:30 and were out of luck! We knew that the parking was far, but at least they have parking now.

The lakeside position and views from the room. The free tourist bus was helpful to get back to the Hauptbahnhof.

Very nice room, with exceptional wiev on the lake and mountains. If you like swimming this hotel is ideal: Just at the lakefront, has own some kind of a pontoon in short swimming distance from the hotel. Additionally even a nice swimming pool. Overall the ambiente of the hotel was super meeting a four star Swiss hotel. The breakfast was amazing wide variety and good quality.

The very aggresive birds in the utdoor breakfast place, I would recommend to find solution in order to avoid the risk of customers sharing their food with the birds. Parking was not available as expected - however the hotel was helpful finding some kind of a "solution"

This boutique hotel was well located on the lake and easily accessible via public transport, with immaculate contemporary styled balcony rooms offering gorgeous views over the lake and pool. The buffet breakfast was very generous and served on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. A lovely boutique hotel bar with excellent service by the friendly bar staff. Hotel staff kindly held onto our luggage so we could extend our stay/ use hotel facilities prior to and after check in/check out times :o)

It is unusual for bottled water NOT to be provided in room, free of charge. We were only booked for the one night, however our FREE public transport pass was only offered to us at the END of our first day when we had already paid for a 24 Hr travel pass. WIFI passwords, breakfast location & times were not automatically provided on check-in. We had to ask for this information which is also unusual, so overall reception service could have been better.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Fine cuisine, great cook, excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice. Canoe and standing paddle available (5 CHF) and of good quality.

Decoration of the room is a bit old. We had a family room with additional beds that were useless for us yet taking a lot of space. Depending on who is at the reception when you check in, you might not receive the indication that the parking is not included and that the canoe and standing paddle are not free. It is not a question of cost, it is a matter of clearly saying things at the time of check in.

The breakfast at Hotel Lido Seegarten is truly impressive—not only for its wide variety and well-curated selection, but also for the stunning view overlooking Lake Lugano. It not only offers free transportation but also saves valuable time for travellers by simplifying travel arrangements, making the overall experience even more convenient and enjoyable.

Best hotel ever!! The lake views, the staff, the spacious room, the balcony, the restaurant (amazing Italian food with unbelievably friendly and professional waiters), the gym (again with lake views), the pool (right on the lake), the direct deck to the lake. There was a problem with the vent (smell from the kitchen vent reached the room). I told the front desk and immediately got another room - with an even better view. Such a combination of friendliness and high-end service. I want to bring all my family and friends to enjoy this hotel, and will definitely be back.
