Wonderful place. Well located, quaint hotel. Staff is extra friendly and helpful. Small hotel, in a wonderful way. Good breakfast included with the room. Great sized room. Great location. We would absolutely stay here again.

The only area for improvement - the restaurant decided to close one evening without much warning due to a lower than planned number of guests, and that was the evening we planned on eating there. This made things a little hard for our family.

We truely loved being in hotel Antica Posta in the center of Ascona, only 1 minute from the lake and 1 minute from the Municipal Museum of Modern Art. Very friendly and helpful team, great beds, super nice breakfast - ask for your favorite omelet - and very light and atmospheric! The rooms were pre-cooled on arrival and we received help with parking our car conveniently. Everything added to a perfect 3-day visit to Ascona, we'll be back!

The staff is very friendly! The breakfast was amazing and the location very central. It’s a cozy, family like property and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is also a restaurant so if you have a room facing the courtyard, it will be noisy until 22:00/22:30. I wouldn’t advise this property for someone that has trouble sleeping, families or people who need to go to sleep early.

Giada, Ivana and staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful! The room was well appointed and hotel located right in the old town, minutes from the square, restaurants and shopping (and the welcome drink was sure appreciated!) Giada provided the code for car access, so bag drop off and pick up was easy. The buffet breakfast was delicious with optional cooked breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel and congratulations to staff and management for making us feel so welcome!

Location in the center of old Ascona, close to the lake and with easy parking. Welcome at reception was excellent and room size huge. Breakfast and service was amazingly good. I'll be staying here if possible again next time in Ascona.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at thanks to the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the staff! We stayed mother and daughter back in April, and found the hotel beautifully decorated, the rooms very spacious and located just next to the lake and small shops. The breakfast was very good and of high quality, as well as the dinner and drinks. The ladies at reception were simply amazing, helpful, easygoing and extremely professional, especially Giada:-) Thank you for this extraordinary stay, we will for sure be back and recommend your hotel to friends and family!

breakfast offer was too limited on both days (e.g. croissant, bread, ham, cheese, butter was missing 1 hour before closing time)

Location was perfect. A beautiful b&b so quaint and pretty. Breakfast was to a high standard. Giada on reception was so lovely. I didn't catch the other lady's name at breakfast but she was equally as lovely. I booked a standard room. It had everything I needed

Easy and relaxed check-in/check-out procedure. Even in off-season (almost no guests) everything felt cozy and inviting. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Free welcome drinks in the bar at the sister property. (they also do amazing carbonara!) Complementary room upgrade was nice.

Mini fridge it the room would have been welcomed.
