Amazing location, clean rooms and the comfort is even higher that you would expect for the price of room. Check in- and Check-out was very fast, and upon request we were also upgraded to the room with the Lake view. Great breakfast, all the staff members were very attentive and nice. Overall, a great example of Ticino hospitality

The rooms are not large, but for the short staying and the location directly on the Lake the perfect size

Room with a Lake View. Tasty breakfast with lots of choices ( served next door in Riva) We requested a kettle and it was promptly delivered. We enjoyed the views from the room and getting out and enjoying some lovely walks to Monte Verita and surrounds.

Not dislikes but just some comments: -Remember to bring your own shampoo etc as there’s only body soap supplied. -Just an idea to offer guests a discount if they use any one of the number of ‘seven’ restaurants or perhaps a welcome drink voucher, this would be a good option particularly in the slower winter business months.

Parking was not included although when we booked the room it was written that parking is avaialble. There was another garage not far away from the hotel but with additional charge. The pillows were very bad. No ventilation system in the bathroom.

The location is ideal. It’s very clean and the bedding is very comfortable

The AC was not working well and we had super hot days. Nice breakfast but could be improved a little. Juices were of poor quality and limited choice of bread, only two types, which were not the tastiest. Fabulous jam though. Lovely and helpful staff

Perfect position on the lake front with access to ships, buses and plenty of great restaurants. It was quiet and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing was an issue at all. The advertisement was exactly according to the room and establishment.

An electric kettle in the room would have been nice. The fridge in the room is really tiny (1 big bottle of water doesn’t fit) and not that cold

well, only one thing actually: please replace the superficially fridge-like flat objects in the rooms by actual fridges that are voluminus enough to hold a standard bottle of water - thank you ;-)

Its proximity to the shore. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Having to carry our luggage from a remote car park. We were told that there was parking at the hotel which wasn’t true.

We stayed in 2 different rooms located in 2 different buildings, both next to the lake. The first was a bit smaller, but still confortable with a nice size bathroom. Breakfast was superb, tables just on the lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast on the lake is absolutely fantastic, with a wonderful view, excellent food and coffee and kind staff. The room was very nice, and I enjoyed the very nice backyard. The receptionists were also very kind and accommodated all my requests (including lending me a steam iron). The location is right in the center of Ascona and super close to the Lago Maggiore, it's amazing!

Maybe there should be better shades. It was very hot in my room and was strictly necessary to close the shades during the day to avoid overheating (the curtains were clearly not enough to shade and not in good conditions). Also, very tiny detail: the somebody came to clean up my room, I couldn't find things cleaner but I found all shades and curtains open (during the full day, while I was away), so the room was super warm. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
