From the moment I arrived at this boutique hotel in Ascona, I was completely enchanted. The attention to detail is simply outstanding. The room was equipped with everything I could possibly need – every amenity thoughtfully chosen, from the beautifully curated tea selection to the complimentary sparkling and still water. But what truly set this stay apart was the bed – without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. It was like sleeping on a cloud, and I woke up feeling more rested than I have in years. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of serenity and natural beauty that made it hard to leave the room. This hotel is a rare find – luxurious, welcoming, and unforgettable. I loved everything about it and can’t wait to return.

The hotel is located in the river of Lago Maggiore with a beautiful view to the lake. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was buffet style with different fresh and food options.

Our room was located next to the stairs that lead to the first-floor restaurant's bathroom, so you could constantly hear the noise of people going up. Perhaps a soundproofing door could be installed between the stairs, the restaurant's bathroom, and the rooms on that level.

I did not stay in the main building by the lake, but in an additional building belonging to the same hotel and at this location was another restaurant downstairs open until late in the night and super noisy. With the windows open you could hear absolutelx all the discussions from this restaurant and all the noise

The hotel was immaculate, the view from the rooms overlooking the lake was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect right in the center of Ascona.

Rooms in the summer are very very hot they had dyson blowers to circulate the air but no accual air conditioning, they should install air conditioning. No Parking at the hotel you have to park in a parking lot that is chargable about 500m away from the hotel, however you can drive to the hotel drop off and pik up bags and then take the car to the closest parking lot a few mins walk away.

Very friendly staff. Great location with nice view of the lake. Modern room with tea and nespresso amenities. They have air-condition which is a must to survive the heat in the summer there. They let us do a late checkout in the afternoon without extra charge!

1st floor view is not that great as the one floor higher, as the photos in the listing show the view when trees are without leaves. So in the summer the trees are limiting the lake view from 1st floor. Do ask for higher floor when you book, as price is the same.

Location was amazing. We had a lake view room with a balcony, which was lovely. The bed was comfy. There were plenty of hangers in the open wardrobe. The staff were friendly. Check in and out was quick and efficient.

There was only one mirror - it was half length and in the bathroom - so not so convenient when myself and my friend were getting ready to go out. There were not so many plug sockets in the room. Not an issue for us, but our room was on the second floor via the staircase.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, restaurant is good, rooms small but comfortable, well equipped, super quiet aircon in the room, sound proofing to the outside is good, everything worth doing in Ascona is walking distance.

You do have to lug your luggage up an alleyway to get to some of the rooms, as there is no direct connection to the hotel lobby. Similarly the car park is a short walk from the hotel.

Very clean, although not extremely spacious, it was still comfortable and never felt that it was too small. We also set a tent for the 17Kg dog which was quite wide and it fit fine. The bed was extremely comfortable, the toiletries good quality, light, AC were perfectly regulated

Everything was really good. If you come by car, it is not ideal if you have large luggages and the cobbles might be an issue

The rooms are fully renovated and modern. Our room has a small balcony with chairs and a table, overlooking the pedestrian street, which was really quiet. We really loved it!

No parking directly at the hotel, you can get a parking card (15CHF) for the Migros parking which is a short 7-9 min walk from the hotel. Not an issue for us but if you're travelling with a lot of luggage, keep that in mind!

The customer service was exceptional. We had some issues with our digital lock on our door. They were always willing to help us and even offerred to make arrangements to change the room, but we were able to trouble-shoot and stay in our room with the replacement key they gave us. Breakfast was great and we could enjoy the lakeview from the breakfast area.
