1.It is very cozy hotel with good location. It's a 2-minute walk to the lake, and you can walk to the center. The hotel provides tickets for all types of public transport within the canton. 2.Very friendly staff. They gave us a map and many recommendations for interesting places near Lugano. 3. The room was very clean with large balcony, daily cleaning. 4. Delicious breakfast. Coffee and tea at any time of the day without restrictions and free of charge. Cozy atmosphere in the hotel. Everything was good.

Room was very spacious and lightful thanks to enormous, floor to ceiling windows. Furniture was simple but comfortable. There was a large furnished balcony in my room. Everything was sparkling clean both in the room and in common areas. The hotel is well maintained, and hosts are very friendly, helpful, positive and welcoming. Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, and at the same time historical center is accessible on foot. Tea and coffee are available for free at any time. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and included really good selection of cheese and ham, wide range of fresh fruits, freshly boiled eggs, home-made cake, yogurt, various muesli, juice, tea and coffee, yummy bread, nuts, honey, jams etc.

There is no elevator. There is no air-conditioner (wasn't a problem for me in November)

This little hotel, which I booked at the last minute with few expectations, turned out to be great. The rooms are actually bigger than they look in the photos, and they were clean and well appointed. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is great, just a 15 minute walk to the centre of town, or an extremely short bus ride. (Staying at the hotel comes with a free bus pass, and the bus stop is just 200 m away. Buses run frequently and on time – this is Switzerland after all.) Breakfast was good, too.

There's parking in front of the hotel reserved for guests, but it's really tight and a bit cumbersome to get in and out. If you need to leave early, make sure you alert the hotel staff ahead of time so that they can arrange for other guests to move their cars out fo the way.

Very nice staff and the owner Sara went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant! Got a free upgrade to a bigger room as I stayed for longer time / 5 nights so it’s more comfortable as per Sara ! Transportation/ Ticino ticket sent to my via email the date I travel to hotel ! Give elevator option as we both had sore knees from hiking ! Very clean facility and good breakfast! The location is not at paradiso but it’s close to Parco Ciani with a pleasant walk ! Having Tea and coffee at lobby is helpful after one day outing ! The owners are friendly helping with local outing options ! Very close to bus 2 and 3 ! Love the stay !

i arrived and left the hotel very early, i received a key to enter the building to enter outside the check-in hours. i also left early in the mornings and the kind receptionist found the time to check me in during my schedule, which i really appreciate. the room was nice, it had the aura of a beach hotel. there were a couple of ants but not really a problem. the hotel is located very close to the lake, unfortunately i had no time to enjoy it.

Super clean and spacious room, with lots of natural light. Really loved the bright and cheery decor. It felt very homey and relaxing. A wonderful change from the dreary dark rooms at other places I've stayed at. Made me wish my stay here was a little longer. The hotel staff were super friendly, offering to help me with my luggages at the staircase. They even offered me some cultery to use when I brought my take out back to the hotel. Would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to this area.

this small and welcoming hotel is situated a short bus ride (No 2, across from the station to get to the hotel)) from outside the main rail station in Lugano. the rooms are a good size and the balconies are good sized. the bathrooms can be compact, but are more than fair sized. the breakfasts are continental based. the staff are welcoming and very helpful. located close to the main conference centre, Lido and lake shore.

very hard to find anything negative about this hotel, very local and Swiss in approach, so if you are looking for 5* luxury then, rather than a clean, practical friendly hotel, then the centre of town has this and prices to reflect it.

Amazing location for hiking and swimming, also not too far from the historical city center. The staff was great and very friendly, and the breakfast was good. The room itself was nice, even had a spacious balcony with a partial view on Monte Bre. Overall we would definitely like to stay here again when we come to Lugano!

The only issue was the lack of AC so it was quite bit hot and stuffy in the room but the staff kindly brought us a portable one.

It is a delightful family run hotel with a really laid back feel, an awesome breakfast and excellent staff members who were always willing to help. Sara and Nicholas the owners went out of their way to help me with many requests for the room as I was visiting on crutches. It was a gem of a find and I don’t hesitate recommending it strongly to everyone.

Absolutely spotless, everything worked perfectly and the breakfast was amazing - homemade jams and cakes, coffee and other choices. Comfortable beds and a nice terrace to sit at. Staff were always really friendly and spoke many languages

I would have loved to be able to use a communal fridge to keep food or drink in so I didn't have to waste so many things I couldn't buy in smaller packages. (Like cheese)
