The self check-in was easy with clear instructions to access the hotel and room keys. Our room was spacious and bright with a double balcony. The bathroom was immaculate and like new! The owners have thought of everything to make the stay the best: free tea and coffee in hotel entrance; a fridge to purchase beer and soft drinks; an iron and ironing board to use. The hotel is bright and quirky and attention to detail is everywhere and gives off such a cool vibe! This theme continues in the breakfast room. Breakfast is a buffet style offering lovely cheeses, breads and so much more. The hotel is a short bus ride from the town and train station and the Bre Funicular is close by too. We loved the hotel so much we changed our travel plans to stay another night. A brilliant hotel to explore Lugano. Highly recommend.

This is a great location for exploring Lugano, right beside the lake. There is a fabulous Lido 5 mins walk away and it's a lovely 20 min walk round the lake into the centre, where you can find boat trips and a beach where you can swim. It's a few mins by bus from the train station. I'd recommend a boat trip to Mocarte. We had a triple room (adult and 2 teenagers) with a balcony and had plenty of space. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend this and will stay there again if I'm in Lugano.

Carrying big bags up the stairs was a bit tricky.

Clean room, big balcony, big windows with curtains. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Great communication, exact instructions. We were provided with Ticino ticket (not only for) public transport. You can go by bus to the town center or to the railway station.

Thin walls. The lady in adjacent room 206 switched the TV set on at aprrox 23.30 at high volume and we heard everythig. I had to get up and tell her to reduce the volume, bud we could still hear the TV after that.

1.It is very cozy hotel with good location. It's a 2-minute walk to the lake, and you can walk to the center. The hotel provides tickets for all types of public transport within the canton. 2.Very friendly staff. They gave us a map and many recommendations for interesting places near Lugano. 3. The room was very clean with large balcony, daily cleaning. 4. Delicious breakfast. Coffee and tea at any time of the day without restrictions and free of charge. Cozy atmosphere in the hotel. Everything was good.

It is the second time we stayed at this hotel and we loved it once again! It is simple, functional and comfortable. Large balcony. Good value for money. Nice breakfast. Super friendly hosts. About 10 minutes walk to Parco Ciani and 15 minutes to the center. Also close to a bus stop; the hotel gave us complimentary public transport tickets. Quiet, residential area.

Everything was good. For this price category, it is hard to find a better deal in Lugano.

Room was very spacious and lightful thanks to enormous, floor to ceiling windows. Furniture was simple but comfortable. There was a large furnished balcony in my room. Everything was sparkling clean both in the room and in common areas. The hotel is well maintained, and hosts are very friendly, helpful, positive and welcoming. Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, and at the same time historical center is accessible on foot. Tea and coffee are available for free at any time. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and included really good selection of cheese and ham, wide range of fresh fruits, freshly boiled eggs, home-made cake, yogurt, various muesli, juice, tea and coffee, yummy bread, nuts, honey, jams etc.

There is no elevator. There is no air-conditioner (wasn't a problem for me in November)

Location was within a reasonable walk from the station. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The host kindly provided a portable air conditioner. A coffee machine that guests could use was available in the lobby. Breakfast was varied and very reasonably priced. But above all staff members were very friendly and extremely helpful. Will certainly stay there whenever in Lugano from now on.

This little hotel, which I booked at the last minute with few expectations, turned out to be great. The rooms are actually bigger than they look in the photos, and they were clean and well appointed. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is great, just a 15 minute walk to the centre of town, or an extremely short bus ride. (Staying at the hotel comes with a free bus pass, and the bus stop is just 200 m away. Buses run frequently and on time – this is Switzerland after all.) Breakfast was good, too.

There's parking in front of the hotel reserved for guests, but it's really tight and a bit cumbersome to get in and out. If you need to leave early, make sure you alert the hotel staff ahead of time so that they can arrange for other guests to move their cars out fo the way.

I really liked the calm area a little bit outside of the city centre but with the excellent Lugano-city card (you will receive when checking in), you have the bus near the hotel. I also appreciated the ceiling fan. Much better than air-condition and works very well. Breakfast was very good and nice to taste local products. I felt like at home and will definitely come back !

Very nice staff and the owner Sara went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant! Got a free upgrade to a bigger room as I stayed for longer time / 5 nights so it’s more comfortable as per Sara ! Transportation/ Ticino ticket sent to my via email the date I travel to hotel ! Give elevator option as we both had sore knees from hiking ! Very clean facility and good breakfast! The location is not at paradiso but it’s close to Parco Ciani with a pleasant walk ! Having Tea and coffee at lobby is helpful after one day outing ! The owners are friendly helping with local outing options ! Very close to bus 2 and 3 ! Love the stay !
