Gracious old family hotel with friendly staff and an excellent main restaurant. Perfectly located for using the ferry. Good breakfast. We enjoyed the pizza from the casual Cafe and the house wine was lovely. Our requests (fresh milk, tumble drying damp clothing) were met promptly and graciously. The amenities in the bathroom were really good. Lovely fluffy gowns and slippers were provided. Our reception on arrival was warm and friendly. What impressed me so much was that there are arrangements and facilities for people in wheel chairs ( stair lifts where necessary). So comforting.

We only realised on our last night that there was more to see and experience of the town - Moltrasio. We had an unfortunate experience with a meal at the Cafe, but it was handled satisfactory by the waitron.

A Delightful Stay at Hotel Posta I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Posta, a charming family-run hotel nestled by the stunning Lake Como. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and genuine hospitality of the owners, who went out of their way to ensure that every guest felt at home. The location is simply perfect, with the ferry terminal to Como just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the lake and its picturesque surroundings. After a day of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the hotel and dine at their restaurant, where the food was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. If you’re looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay by Lake Como, I highly recommend Hotel Posta. The combination of friendly service, prime location, and delicious food made my stay truly memorable.

The hotel has a great location to explore Lake Como area. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of fruits, yogurt and freshly made eggs and other options. Also, the hotel offers paid parking which is an asset in this area where parking is not easy. It is very clean. Our room had a little fridge which was very useful. The restaurant was very good and we had dinner twice in the restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. Very reasonably priced compared to the prices in the area.

Everything about our stay was lovely. The staff was super communicative and responsive to our needs even before we arrived. My husband and I were in Como for a friend’s wedding and this hotel came recommended by a local friend - it did not disappoint. Apart from its convenient lake-front location across from the ferry, the staff is what truly sets this place apart. Family run hotel staffed by wonderful and caring people. Theresa at the front desk was a gem and took great care of us from arrival to departure. Lucky for us, there was a cancelation and she quickly upgraded us to a room with a beautiful balcony and view of the lake. The room itself was spacious, airy and felt like home. We also had lunch and the restaurant which also proved to be an enjoyable experience, excellent food, great wine and attentive service. My only regret was forgetting to snag one of the homemade panettone’s that they bake and sell daily on the premises. We will definitely be back!

It is a great hotel; the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were lovely, and clean, with comfortable beds and all the required facilities. We had a lovely little balcony with views across the lake. The breakfast was fantastic, I had to have two of the croissants... they were the best I have ever tasted! We would happily stay here again and intend to book for our next visit!

Very happy with the entire hotel, but brace yourself for the world's smallest elevator to the rooms... it was good fun getting 2 people and 2 cases in there!

The location was fantastic! Extremely convenient for getting around Lake Como as it is directly opposite a ferry port. It is situated in a very pretty little village on the Lake with beautiful views, a wonderful restaurant and pizzeria with The Grand Hotel next door, where you can utilise their Spa services. there is also a bus stop directly outside. It is 30 minutes by boat to central Como so it's very easy to get to the airport. A great choice for solo travellers.

I thought all the rooms had a lake or garden view but mine had neither. My balcony looked over the back of the building which was a little disappointing.

Very quaint hotel, perfectly situated in front of the Moltrasio water ferry terminal. Super easy to hop on and visit other ports on Lake Como. Our room was spacious and the little balcony overlooking the lake was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with the bonus of made to order eggs. They were fresh and absolutely delicious!

We were a little disappointed to find that when we sat out on our balcony, the high, front-facing, tiled wall blocked any direct lake view. When standing, though, the view of the lake and surrounding area was gorgeous!

The staff were amazing. One of our group had very poor mobility & everyone in the hotel went out of their way to help & accommodate us. Dinner was fantastic & service excellent Location was great if you don’t want to be the bustle of the city centre which is within easy access with water bus stop for touring the area located just across the road.

Taxi service is very expensive. We visited for a family wedding & chose Hotel Posta as it was only 12 minutes drive to the wedding venue. We were charged €60 on way to the villa & €53 return! Taxi to airport was €170 (if booked through the hotel) Some friends were charged €240 by individual drivers

Comfortable room with nice view from balcony in room 30. Friendly and informative staff. Nice restaurant with decent selection but limited vegetarian but what we had was delicious. Location to boat was excellent. Not much to do in Moltrasio but boat across the street was so convenient. Parking close to hotel, underground, secure and easy in and out.

Moltrasio was our favorite spot on Lake Como !! Hotel Posta makes for the perfect stay. A family owned hotel who totally look after you for breakfast, afternoon drinks & dinner !! They went above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. The rooms were generous & we had a view of the lake & a balcony !! 30 minute Ferry ride from Como & just about pulls up at the front door !! Highly recommend a stay here.
