The new hotel (apparently built in 2024) is located outside of Losone across the bridge to Locarno in a business area. Locarno is easily accessible by a bus that runs every 10-15 min. Our spotless room faced the main road but was relatively quiet. The shower in the bathroom was really spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke either English or German (in addition to Italian, of course). Upon check-in we received a Ticino ticket which allows the free use of public transport in the whole of Ticino/Tessin plus discounts at some other institutions. Breakfast was amazing (scrambled egg, bacon, various other cold and warm dishes, waffles, muesli). The hotel also has a restaurant, and a Migros is located directly opposite the entrance. Further restaurants are within walking distance (15 min). From what I could see, this was one of the least expensive hotels during our travel time, and I would certainly book again.

Parking was quite expensive (around 20 SFr per night?) but this seems to be the rule rather than the exception in this area. Bed was "only" 160 cm wide. Bathroom could have offered more options to hang up towels.

Good location. Next to the hotel, approx. 25 m away, there is a large grocery store (Migros). Free parking. The beach is approximately 3 km or 7 minute drive away by car. The amazing Termali Salini & Spa Locarno is also nearby. The hotel provided a soft bed with a drinking bowl and food bowl for our four-legged friend. Our dog loved this bed, even though we had brought our own. The room was very clean, had tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was plentiful, very tasty and nutritious. The overall atmosphere was cosy. The bed was comfortable. The room had air conditioning. The price-quality ratio was excellent. One night for two people costs €145, plus an additional €30 for a dog and tourist tax.

Overall, the hotel offers a very pleasant stay, with comfortable rooms, a high standard of cleanliness, and a location that is convenient and easily accessible by car.

The variety and taste of the breakfast could be improved. The restaurant can get quite busy in the mornings, as many guests tend to eat at the same time. The tables are a little close together, which can make it feel crowded, and it’s sometimes tricky to keep your spot if you step away to get something from the buffet. It would also be a nice touch to have some drinking water provided in the rooms, either complimentary or available for purchase. The rooms are generally comfortable, though some noise from neighboring doors opening and closing can often be heard.

very new, modern looking hotel just next to Ascona with AC in rooms and great breakfast. I was travelling with my dog and the pet fee included a dog bed and food/water bowl which was very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Ticino ticket is useful.

The hotel is central but not very close to restaurants/bars and the rooms are not very spacious but it's enough for just a few days.

Very clean and modern hotel. Newly built in the last year. Staff were friendly. Excellent breakfast. It's a functional hotel which could be anywhere in the world. It's a bit of an odd building, but sleep quality is good. The Migros supermarket is literally 5 metres from the entrance so you can buy anything you need.

I had a bicycle with me and it would have been nice to park next to the hotel; instead it seems you have to park in the exposed Migros car park about 100m away.

clean. great breakfast. for our needs, location excellent. the bus stop is 100m away - it’s free with the Ticino card so stop fussing that the hotel is not in Ascona or Locarno. you are exactly equidistant from both. 10 min ride and you are where you need to be

the entrance is funny; wonder why they decided to tuck it away in a dark little side street. no bike stands at the hotel itself so it’s not secure to leave a bike here.

The facilities and the breakfast were excellent also the location was ok ,the staff were helpful and cooperative they have multi lingual staff also having Magros supermarket almost attached to hotel ,door in front of the door

Although there is a big parking space and is used also by clients of Magros but the cost of parking is. exgaurated and unfair in my opinion

this Hampton Hilton is way better than the double tree Hilton in turin - air con was working smaller Room but excellent planning. Will never stay at Hilton turin - it was cold in the room and they did not even have a room heater - shit hotel

Value for money. Very professional, clean, nearby parking, good beds, big TV screen. The breakfast is serving good food. I definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers. Also others, although it is maybe not very romantic.

The staff was very attentive, They served a very good breakfast, and everything was very clean. The hotel has easy access to public transport and nearby supermarkets. The free Ticino Ticket provided was a plus.
