The pool and grounds were amazing, perfect for the 36 degree weather! The rooms were spacious and airy with great facilities! The location is fanctastic close to the ruins, the train station, Barlotti and the beach. My dad went 5 years ago and recommended it to us as he loved it so much and we had the best time too! The place also smells amazing!

We were told by a few people that have stayed there that you could use/hire bikes and we did see lots of bikes in a storage area but when we asked if we could use or hire them, they said no. I'm not sure if this is correct or not.

After our plans changed mid-trip we booked this hotel at the last minute and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The pool was great (even if you do have to buy a cap), views were stunning, and they even have their own restaurant on sight. The food we had at the restaurant was some of the best we had on our entire trip! The family that runs it are accommodating and kind. We only had one full day in Paestum and never made it to the beach but that is close by. The ruins are walking distance away. Next time we will stay for more than two nights!

Stupendous in every way, from the moment of check-in. I extended my stay just to spend a more leisurely time at Hotel Villa Rita and Paestum. Breakfast and dinner were fabulous. The cuisine was fresh and delicious and healthy. The pool is a major plus. Simply wonderful. Rooms and common areas are clean and pleasant. Location is ideal - walking distance to the archeological site and museum. This family run hotel is well run and with attention to detail. They go out of their way to make their guests welcome.

I loved my stay at Hotel Villa Rita. Nothing negative to report.

My stay in Paestum could not have been better. The hotel buildings and grounds are beautiful and very close, a long walk, to the entrance to the Paestum ruins. The pool area was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon, and the patio outside the dining room provided a cool, quiet spot to start the day. The staff were very helpful. D'Alessia especially went out of her way to help me with translation and procedure. Breakfasts and dinners were all delicious. Luigi, the owner, greeted me shortly after I checked in, and we had a fascinating conversation. I met Rita, his daughter, while checking out, and she made sure my meal totals were correct and that I understood the charges. I am very happy that I chose Hotel Villa Rita.

There was nothing I did not like about the Hotel Villa Rita.

Very convenient for visiting the site

We left our overnight bag after check out while we visited the museum & when we returned it was missing. It had been taken by a coach group driver error. The hotel made a great effort to locate it & while it didn’t arrive before our train departed the made a super effort to get it to a train station a few stops away & we got it back . While we were disappointed that it happened we were extremely grateful to the staff for the effort they made to get it to us

Super clean room and bathroom. Staff cared about our experience, they were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Lots of outdoor space to relax, each room had a private patio and there were other places to gather socially. Restaurant has a limited menu but that just means the food is perfect. There is a nice wide sidewalk to the beach.

Dining room was a little warm, could use some fans.

The hotel was superb. It was down a private road to the place. We had a delightful room with our perfect bathroom. In the reception was a lovely fire, which we also had a scrumptious dinner and breakfast. The area was beautiful, as well as the family in their generation.

Nothing.

The decor of the lobby felt like home…it was charming as was the staff and the family who owned the hotel. The food was excellent especially the dinner…definitely 5 star. The location was perfect for walking to Paestum park.

Very nice room and the hotel property, perfect location near Paestum ruins which are beautiful day and night. There is a sidewalk from the property to the entrance. We ate dinner and it was good.

You have to oreder breakfast night before with a paper with ticking boxes and it was a bit unclear how many items you can choose.

The hotel is super nice, surrounded by gardens and a lot of green spaces. Still, you have everything you need. The beach is only 1 km away, the archeological park only 500m.. I loved swimming in the pool and enjoyed their delicious food. Grazie mille!
