Great location in the heart of the bustling area between the old town and the marina. Nice sea views from the balcony. Hotel is a bit faded but still very charming. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good (including lovely fresh croissants - plain and custard filled!!).

Parking on the street is very difficult (very busy area) so we availed of the free parking provided by the hotel. Be prepared for a bit of a walk (at least 10 minutes) so try to drop your bags at the hotel before you park the car and make the walk back. But good peace of mind knowing the car was safe off-street for the night.

Old world charm in the heart of the port. Feels like stepping back in time. Surprisingly quiet despite the location. A morning swim in the port is htstvsteps from the hotel. Great hot water. a Martinucci cafe (a chain cafe with coffee, cocktails, gelato and snacks) is convientltvacross the s treet. Would stay here again.

Parking is an issue. They do offer secure parking but it is quite a distance up hill from the hotel. If you are lucky to score rare free parking closer to the hotel, take it! I always appreciate it when someone makes me coffee and that’s the best part of the breakfast, which also includes a croissant, a slice of cake, and commercially packaged biscuits and jams.

While there were limitations with communication, the man at the reception was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me out with things like making bookings. The beds and hotel in general could use an upgrade but was very clean and the room was serviced daily which was more than expected from a 3 star hotel. The room was fantastic for the price.

Awesome location! Wonderful and very helpful staff! I will definitely stay again when I am in Castro. The terrazza was so nice for relaxing and reading.

Niente, but it would be nice to have “a do not disturb/please clean” placard to put on the doorknob to let the housekeeper know when and when not to enter the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the most amazing spot just across from the ocean. The rooms are dated but they are clean and tidy. A kettle in the room with tea and coffee would have been a nice addition.

Everything about the hotel was nice. we really were at home.

Perfect location, wonderful rooftop terrace, excellent value, extremely helpful hosts.

Ok, this is the only one hotel in the centre of Castro Marina, near the "piazzetta". It has so much potential. Rooms are spotless clean and are very nice although a bit small (the building is probably from the 1940's so there's nothing you can do about it). A few steps and you are in the middle of the village, with everything it has to offer. Position is unbeatable.

...and... yet there is a lot of unexpressed potential. Breakfast could use a lot of TLC, especially with the competition of the nearby pasticceria. All of the experience can be much much better if only there was a bit of smiling attention to detail. Again nothing wrong per se, it's just in the overall atmosphere.

The location was great and the room was nice.
