Hotel La Roccia is located right in the Marina and on the waterfront. Older style hotel with a few modern additions. Excellent location and views with access to beach chairs/beach club. Room was very spacious and quite basic but good value for money. Staff were always helpful. Walking distance to great swimming spots, cafes and restaurants. You walk to the old hill top town in about 20 minutes or take the tourist train for the uphill walk.

Pillows on beds need replacing, not very comfortable and very flat.

The location was excellent, breakfast was varied and there was alot of choice, The staff were really helpful and polite from the restaurant, reception to the cleaning team. The out door balcony was great and provided a great view of the ocean.

The shower was too small and the bathroom was cramped. The beds had a lump in the middle . We would have liked an outdoor shower by the sea to rinse off. The tv was very small and no sky channels

We loved having our cosy upper floor balcony. We didn’t bother going to dinner in restaurants during our stay. We would just sit on the balcony, look at the amazing view and nibbled on prosciutto, cheese and drank wine. Nothing better. Breakfast was very good!

The lower private terraces, in the newly renovated superior rooms, were not at all private as we could see everything from above.

Amazing views from our room to Castro Marina. Very clean room everyday. Staff were accommodating, we were there out of season which was amazing as it was not so busy. We swam everyday in the beautiful water. Did have a storm that blew in on our arrival but you can’t do anything about that. Overall very happy with our stay would highly recommend.

Bacon was cold at breakfast. Bed was not that comfortable.

Excellent location, right by the water with deck chairs for hotel guests free of charge. There are sun loungers but it’s €30. There’s beach towels at reception to use too. The hotel must have had a recent refurb as the paint is all fresh and everything in very good condition. Breakfast was all you’d need - pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, meats and cheese. Fresh juice and coffee too. Great view from balcony. There’s a car park that you can reserve a space which is very handy. Otherwise I think parking could be tricky for the area.

The walls seemed thin as we could hear the room next to us - but it’s not a big deal. I think the hotel could offer more I.e there wasn’t any menus but we would have got drinks during the day whilst sunbathing. There was a good menu for the restaurant but there wasn’t anyone else there when we went so that wasn’t very appealing.

Amazing views and fantastic service. The location can't be beat! We were able to reserve a parking spot, which was only 5 euros for the one night, but if we didn't have parking it may have been tricky to get to. But once there it's super easy to walk around town.

The shower was incredibly small. I couldn't wash without bumping the faucet/controls. It was OK for one night but just be prepared that it's very compact.

The location was phenomenal! The view from our balcony and the umbrellas and chairs right on the water were brilliant. Downsides were the challenging parking (make sure you reserve!) and the breakfast choices were underwhelming. Staff was all great!
