Very nice, welcoming and understanding host gave us useful tips about the city and surroundings. The accommodation has a good location, close to the center and the Dom Square (15-20 min). I liked that it has shutters and they can be drawn so that the sun doesn't bother you in the morning. Our communication was ok during the city break.

If you book a rooftop accommodation, it should be noted that you have to walk many steep stairs to get to it. The bed linen and towels had a strange smell and this could be improved. From the room you can see a small part of the neighboring buildings and even Etna, but it is not an extraordinary view, but it's quiet.

The owners, Daniela and Vincenzo have done a fabulous job retaining the original decor on one floor of this 140 year old building. We stayed in a B&B room for one night before an early flight and it was perfect for the purpose. They were kind enough to give us an early check-in as well. The location-a short walk from the main square and Duomo--is great. The room, with an elaborate 15 foot ceiling, original tile floors and small balcony has its own small but fully functional bathroom built into it. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There is a breakfast room with a refirigerator for guests to use. We did not have breakfast as we left very early. Daniela was especially lovely, taking us on a tour of the B&B including the rooftop terrace, which is beautiful. We really enjoyed talking with her. It's a unique property in a great location.

Be aware that the B&B is up several steep flights of stairs. Very helpfully, Vincenzo and Daniela took our luggage up while we returned our rental car. Also, it might be difficult to find parking if you come with a car as it's on a very busy main street.

It was simply amazing! I have never stayed at a place that had this much character. I loved the design and the apartment had everything we needed. It was a few minute walk from the main square.

It was not a problem for us however it can be for others who arrive with bigger luggage. We stayed at the penthouse apartment which was at the 3rd floor and there’s no elevator. Also, the pictures showed this really cool terrace but it was not mentioned how we can use it, if you really want to take advantage of it it’s best to ask about it.

The B&B is located in an ancient palace that has updated bathrooms and other renovations. The eclectic decor and furnishings are exceptional. The owners and their son, Lorenzo, were gracious and accommodating. They offer a nice breakfast for $5 euros. They are happy to offer assistance with directions or arranging transportation. If you like Mid-century modern and vintage style, then you must spend time in this wonderful place. Centrally located and within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, shops, churches, etc, etc. Good value for the money.

The room where I stayed had a loft bed with the most creative stairs, I loved it until I missed the last stair in the dark and fell down. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to stay, but be careful on those stairs.

We had a pleasant stay at Tricora Sicilian B&B. The location is close to the main square, about 800m away and the main advantage is that it also offers a parking place in the interior court, which is really hard to get in Catania. The beds were very comfortable and the room big enough. There is also a kitchen nearby and free coffee. The hosts are very friendly. The Via Garibaldi is a little noisy, this would be the only disadvantage.

The family apartment was amazing,split level sleeping area with separate master bedroom.We had no terrace,but to Juliet balconies to let some air in and charming view. The kitchen was well equipped,also we did not cook,just made some coffee that was complimentary,as well as water in the fridge. TV has all modern channels, YouTube and Netflix.

Lots of stairs to climb.lucklily we had only backpacks :) The master bedroom bed was broken at some point, as it sits on few wooden blocks.also makes a squeaking sound every time you turn. It was a bit strange outdoor in a flat,possibly left by cleaning chemicals or washing powder used. All very minor issues that can be easily improved.

Very beautiful apartment in an old palace. A lot of charm and character, with high ceilings and beautiful tiles. The apartment is conveniently located at walking distance from city centre without being in busy touristic streets.The room is very comfortable, spacious, nicely equipped and furnished. The hosts are very welcoming and prepare a delicious breakfast. A great address

The street can be a little bit noisy sometimes with cars passing by but nothing unbearable.

A wonderful experience. Firstly the owner was very helpful with us arriving at the location. She offered us multiple solutions to get from the airport. After arriving at the location we were amazed by the attention given to the room arrangement and design. The room is big, clean and very well thought. The owner presented and recommended some attractions and guides. In the end we did all of them and were very pleased by the quality of people and their services. The location is very good as it is quiet with a lot of good places to eat and visit in the area. Another pleasant thing was the breakfast. Everything was beautifully arranged making the breakfast to be a vivid experience. The food was delicious. Overall we had a great experience. We will definitely come again to try the other rooms. We highly recommend it.

Awesome place with an even more awesome rooftop terrace! View over the city and you also can see the mount Etna if its not covered in clouds. Aircondition is silent and powerful. Beds comfy. Nice water pressure within the shower. 2 BDR appartment is xompletely quiet during the nighttime. Only 10min walk to the Piazza del Duomo and the Fishmarket. Owners are friendly and reply nearly immediately to your messages. Prepare to take some (steep) stairs to reach the nucely and individual designed and decoreted B&B...

Daniella made us feel extremely valued, comfortable and welcome... The accommodation is in the thick of the historic, restaurant and night life, it's not for the travellers who are seeking a quiet neighbourhood,,the area is vibrant and colourful... Definitely will be staying again as we search for a property to buy to use as our winter residence.. Huge thanks Paul 🙂 👍
