The host of BellAqua was probably the best host I have ever had - very helpfull, shared what places we should visit, told the story about the history of the house and just a fun person to talk with, always with a smile. The place has its own unique style, is very spacious. If I come to Catania again - that's a place where to stay.

We loved Bell Aqua. When we arrived late, Santo said. 'This is your home while you are here.' That is what it felt like. It is a beautiful historic building with a host who gave you the best advice on what to do in the area and even organised our transfer to the airport. We absolutely adored Catania. The property is so handy for all the sights with a fabulous terrace to drink coffee too. Santo, come and visit us in Liverpool if you come to the UK.

I arrived one hour before the check-in, the owner welcomed me and gave me the room without any issue. This is something that usually never happens even in $$$ places. Same for the check-out, we were late, and he gave us enough time as well without even asking. He gave us advices to spend at best out staying and he could also speak great English. That made a difference. Whenever you ring the bell, he'll always be there. Would recommend and also return. Thank you Santo. 10++

Wow. What a find was this place. Authentic Sicilian hospitality. Santo the host is a real gem. He couldn’t do enough for us. Fabulous espresso coffee & beautiful garden terrace to enjoy it on. Enormous room within character filled building.

Marvelous place, a real home away from home. Stylish, comfortable and a part of cultural history. Perfect service, Wi-Fi and hot water. Very peaceful, birdsong outside. Quiet enough to read and write, guest are polite. No noice. 5 metres high ceiling. Airy and comfortable.

Don’t be scared by the exterior of the huge building - it’s an old military courtyard, and the place is lovely once inside the gate. Walk through Via Garibaldi or Emmanuelle Vittorio - (not by Via Naumacchia!). Taxi to Piazza Cristofori.

Beautiful place with a great history. Owner - Santo is such a helpful and amazing person. He owns the place with big rooms, well equipped kitchen, wonderful terrace and many works of arts. Bathroom in like-new condition.

Many stairs to get to the room. But there is a lift for luggage available.

Santo the host was a really friendly and open person. The room was very nice in an old historic neighborhood of Catania.

We only saw Santo the first day. It would have been nice to see him the other days as well. But we could always reach him by what's app. For some people the lack of airco might be a problem. But there is a ventilator.

The host is very kind person, he told everything about the city and the activities we can do. He also booked us taxi while we’re going to airport. The place is at center you can walk to Duomo in 10 mins. It was very clean and I would recommend the place to people.

Place does not have air conditioner but it is also stated in the facility properties. The room has two ventilators so it is enough to sleep in comfort.

The premises are beautiful!! The rooms were very comfortable. It is well located and the host, Santo, is super nice and helpful!! Would definitely go back!

There is no AC so it can get a bit hot during summer.
