The Silver Lava is an amazing residence in an amazing location that will allow you to experience all that Catania has to offer. We were met at the apartment by Marianna who introduced us to the location and all of what it had to offer. We cannot say enough about Marianna. From the first moment we met her we felt at ease. EVERY ONE of her recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area were incredible. When you stay at Silver Lava, insist on meeting this amazing woman…. You will not be disappointed. You will be staying steps away from the fish market, the Cathedral, Via Etnea (the shopping street), the amphitheatre and much much more. Experience the local lifestyle and the amazing people of Catania.

The apartment is furnished and decorated with great taste and has all the amenities one might need while on a city break in Catania. We especially enjoyed cooking in the spacious colourful kitchen while listening to some chill tunes through the sound system. The bathroom was impeccable, too, with the rainfall shower having several modes as well as dialable mood lighting, not to mention the hot tub in the bedroom, which was the cherry on top. We were greeted at the apartment by a very friendly and helpful lady who explained all the key things about the apartment and gave us some tips about what to see in the neighbourhood.

Fabulous design-led apartment in a great location - moments away from all the sights but lovely and quiet. We stayed a couple of nights and had everything we need for some light meals, tea, coffee etc. All the practical stuff works from air con to kitchen to bathroom. We’d stay again. That’s the best recommendation we can give.

The filtered water (including sparkling) on tap was very welcoming during the hot weather. The facilities in this apartment were fantastic. Washing machine was a bonus. The spa bath in the bedroom was gorgeous, the decor and furnishings were very appealing, all exceeding our expectations. There are 4 rooms in total which really gives you a lovely sense of space. Highly recommend for a stay in Catania!

It was a wonderful vacation. Catania is charming in its own way. The apartment is perfect right in the center of the old town. Everything inside is very comfortable and cute. Maariana is a very kind and radiant host. She gave us very good advice about places to eat. A great bonus is the drinking water purification system in the apartment. We always found a place to park our car in the street next to it. Thank you so much for helping us to have a wonderful time to Sicily.

Beautiful apartment in a side street of the historical centre. Great location for discovering the old Catania and still getting a great sleep. Beautifully renovated with wooden floors and lava tiles in the bathroom. Marianna gave us amazing tips for restaurants and trips, we felt truly welcome there. Thank you!

Beautiful luxury apartment, Marianna, was there to meet us and was so lovely & helpful. Everything about the apartment was perfect, spa bath in bedroom was amazing after a long day travelling & sightseeing - this one's a must!

Amazing apartment with every aspect dialled to perfection. The shower was incredible used at every opportunity to deal with the heat. A tremendous place to use as a base camp to explore Catania, thoroughly recommended

Beautiful Apartment in the centrum of Catania with 100% “feel at home” atmosphere. Host Marianna is doing a brilliant job and took really care, even over the Easter weekend. 100% recommendable!!!
