The location is great - just a short walk to the Piazza del Duomo and mere steps away from the historic Odeon Roman theater. There's a parking area on the next street, but I'll admit, finding a spot can be a bit of a puzzle (it's the city center, after all). The street is lined with cafes, bars, and a restaurant, yet you don't hear any of the outside buzz because the apartment's windows face the other way. Speaking of the apartment, it's squeaky clean, and while the room might be a tad small, it did the trick just fine for our one-night stay. We missed out on breakfast due to an early exit, but Valentina, the host, prepared coffee capsules and some handy prepacked snacks for us.

The room did tend to get quite warm, mainly due to the window facing a nearby wall, which limited the airflow. Additionally, there wasn't a wardrobe, only hangers, so storage space for clothing is somewhat limited. However, for our brief stay, this didn't pose much of an issue.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. A real sanctuary in the centre of Catania. Would def stay there again. Valentina arranged a car for me to the airport too and a v reasonable rate. And breakfast was good too. The Roman theatre is just there and a very nice little apartment museum too just on the same street. The castle, the amazing fish market and restaurants and bars all within a 7 min walk highly recommended!

There was nothing I didn’t like - (there are steps with no lift up to the hotel incase that’s a prob for anyone)

Valentina took care of me with all of my questions and tips for getting around. A nice breakfast spread was provided in the morning. Also this specific room has an awesome luxury shower. It made getting clean a real pleasure!

I chose this room because I love arches. However, be careful if you are tall. The arch is made of stone and will rearrange your facial structure if you walk into it inadvertently. Guess how I know! :)

Our room was compact but lovely. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. The position is so good and would recommend the restaurant which is just out the door

The website kind of intimates that there is a restaurant and bar on site like a hotel. The only time we found out it was and air B’n’B was after we booked and it come up as Il Daviduccio. It’s very misleading as we don’t like air B’nB’s

Valentina the owner of the place was extremely helpful and friendly, even she doesn't speak English and I don't speak italian we could understand each other. It's one of the cleanest places I have ever seen, with comfortable bed and 5* bathroom. The location was perfect for me, 5 min walk to all tourist sites of Catania

Keep in mind this is not a hotel, but more like a guest house, so sound insulation is not that good.

Couldn’t manage the key lock to open my door from the inside despite being shown multiple times. Would have liked an explanation in English.

In central area of Catania with lot of restaurants and bars, but despite that it was quiet in our room. There is a small shared terace that you can use. Breakfast is ok - eggs, ham, cheese, croisant, sweet and fruit, but you have to anounce the time when you want to have breakfast. Valentina was very kind and helpful.

Valentina is a great host, she speaks only italian but we always found a way how to communicate. Room has everything you need, AC is working properly, breakfast is great (croissant, coffee, bread, italian sausage/cheese). There is small common patio where you can chill or hang clothes to dry. Recommended, would come again.

it's quiet because it's not on the main street, but the entrance door does not isolate sound, so you will hear everyone in the morning.

A very comfortable bed and room. The air conditioning was cold. It was a perfect location on a cute side street and within walking distance to the major historic sights. The cab ride was arranged for us after breakfast to head to the airport to make the experience super convenient.

It was wonderful for the price. No complaints.
