I stayed 4 nights at Diletta Oasi. Very nice location. Diletta is very nice, very helpful, and full of information. Small BnB - just three rooms. Breakfast is okay, not great: a wide assortment of pastries, bread, cereal - all self serve that you can have whenever you want, but all cold and no fresh fruit. There was an unfortunate maintenance issue that required me to change to another of Diletta’s locations. A hassle, but Diletta handled this very professionally and made sure I was taken care of.

Small room - barely enough room to get my yoga mat down after I rearranged some furniture. No bedside table. I saw another room, and it was much more spacious and well equipped. I somehow thought I had my own bathroom when I booked, but there are two (men’s/women’s) shared bathrooms (and not many people so okay) The only flat spot to set up a laptop and work is in the breakfast area. Location/cleanliness/service gets a 10; the room gets a 6.

House is fully equipped. The bed is wide and "over decorated" (with lights, hanging curtains, many pillows, etc.). The entry should be ok for anybody - it is clearly explained by Diletta. The toilet is equipped with toilet, place to wash your butt. Shower is very nice. The water is warm and works the way it should. For breakfast the food is only sweet - so eg. Nutella, jam, joghurts, sweet buns and other Italian delicacies. Unfortunately there is nothing salty (so I have bought myself a pack of cold cuts for my breakfast).

That we misunderstood about car parking and I had to pay 15€ per day for parking it

The location was perfect, close to the main places and 2 min from the fish market (which I highly recommend!). The room was very comfortable and spacious, the bed was also very comfortable! The bathroom is a shared bathroom, but that was not a problem since there are not that many rooms in the place, so it’s fine to share. The host was very welcoming and even gave us some cards with discounts at restaurants close by.

The breakfast was not as good as we expected, mostly with sweet options and most of them store-bought, not fresh. I also think there was some problem with the washing machine, because when we took out our clothes there was some dirt which looked like spikes all over them. I also didn’t like that when we came back to the place after a day of visiting the city, we found our stuff at a different place of where we left them. I would prefer if they didn’t touch our personal belongings when cleaning the room.

I would like to thank Diletta for her hospitality and all useful information about what to see and do in Catania and around. Tastefully decorated rooms in the apartment and fully equipped kitchen create a cozy and homelike feeling. Diletta Oasi is very close to Piazza Duomo and main sights of Catania as well as bus station and not far away from railway station which makes it perfect place for discovering Catania and the region.

Some noise may come from the outside however it is quiet during the night.

i slept in the Church room and it was really nice, you had almost all you need in the flat, air-conditioner, in the bathroom shampoo, soap all, coffee maker and some tea packages. It was extremely clean. It is in the middle between the city center and the beach are which is really nice. Near the flat has a small shop otherwise nothing else in near radius.

The room is noisy as its located on the main street and whole night you have cars and motorbikes passing, During the day you have the church. It is not exactly clean streets and you kick some garbage day or night. The kitchen is clean but with nothing, you have only sugar for the tea/coffee nothing else. Salt, olive oil or vinaigrette doesn't exist and you have to buy. It was included breakfast, but breakfast i suspect is jar with biscuits and sweet stuff in the fridge.

The location was good, once I got myself oriented. The nearby tourist information gave me a map and explained that the Piazza Borsellino - where the buses take you from the station (tickets 1euro from any tabacchi) - and the Piazza del Duomo are right next to one another - a walk through a park and an archway. A left turn and two or three blocks and you're at Diletta Oasi. Comfortable bed, and warm shower. All I needed.

Nothing I didn't like. I had some trouble with the key into the apartment, until I realised it was a simple turn to the right.

I really loved my stay in this place. It's located in the city center, very close to many famous locations. My room was super comfortable and clean, with wonderfully comfortable bed - better than in many hotels I've been before! There are many small details that make this place home-alike, for example umbrellas that you can borrow during your stay. Sweet breakfast is very nice and contains local sweets, toasts, jam, yoghurt, coffee, tea and juice. Bathroom is very clean and, what made me impressed, there are separate bathrooms for women and men! If you're woman, you can find there many useful things, even make-up remover. And the owner - Diletta - is incredibly kind person! I would recommend this place to everybody, especially solo-travellers.

Wonderful Guesthouse right in the historical centre of Catania. Very warm welcome, spotlessly clean and in the best area of the city: just near the fish market and the Cathedral square, surrounded by shops and restaurants for all tastes! Charming flat in an historical building, very large room with the most comfortable bed! The flat is very well decorated, with all sorts of details that make you feel very comfortable. Bathrooms are shared, but because the guesthouse only has 3 rooms, you never feel uncomfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday and are immaculately clean. Very good breakfast with a variety of Sicilian sweets :) It is without any doubt one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in!

It has nothing to do with the flat, but on the weekends the neighbourhood gets crowded with a lively nightlife. You might hear some party goers late at night on the streets... But that is part of the charm!

The place is super located right next to the centre but yet in a little side road! Dilletta was extremely helpful. There are two big shared bathrooms (man and women) which made the shared bathroom situation hassle-free. I loved the self made pastries every morning. :)

If you are very sensitive with needing quite nights I recommend bringing ear plugs as there are peolpe and motorbikes passing the street at nights, specially on weekends.

The flat was nicely decorated, it was clean and the location was convenient. Diletta was a great host, she gave us all necessary information and cleaned our room. The breakfast was available in the mornings. The room was clean and spacious. When we booked we overlooked the share bathroom but it was all ok as the capacity of the flat did not seem full so we had easy access to the bathroom and toilet at any time.
