Its a beautiful stay on a hill, with the optimum level of seclusion and privacy, theres a warm jacuzzi outdoor alongside the big pool. Our room was equipped with extra wood to use in the fireplace and a jacuzzi pool in the room, it was a super stay for us, very cosy. Laura at the reception was super helpful and very accommodating of our requests.

While reaching the property, google maps took us through a terrible route without any road, it would be nice if the property could have let us know in advance a better route. Otherwise no complaints.

This hotel is incredible, a throwback to another more stylish era when people had more chance to sit down and talk over a long breakfast, with local honey and home baked bread. I've given this hard to get to hotel top marks for location as coming from Radda, as we did, the drive is very steady on a bumpy dirt road, but when you get there it is a serene paradise that would not be the same without the remoteness. Dinner in this hotel is a must, full of flavour and served with Chianti by waiters who are attentive and appreciative.

The staff, especially Paolo, the sommelier, was exceptional. We highly recommend doing the wine tasting as not only will you get to drink all 3 bottles of wine, but food pairing is included and the history and description of the Tuscany wine landscape was very interesting. The fact that each room has a fireplace that you can light up, wood restocked daily, is something we have never come across before. The food served there is of Michelin standard, the chef cooks amazing dishes that we have been impressed with. Finally Kim at the reception was very welcoming and a great member of staff.

This is a stunning property completely immersed in the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are beautifully and luxuriously appointed with cosy open fires and huge bathrooms. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed all the touches from gorgeous Christmas decorations to the generous breakfast in the divine lemon-tree filled conservatory. When there was an issue with one of our party’s rooms that meant they had to move to another, this was resolved immediately and apologetically. We only had one night at Le Lappe but I wish we had had a week! We hope to return one day.

The staff didn’t live up to the price of the hotel and the surrounding. They were really nice, but didn’t seem that professional. The food (both dinner and breakfast) didn’t live up to the hotel price and surrounding as well. Really basic - especially dinner was not good.

The place is straight out of a fairy tale. The location is remote and the views and scenery is breath taking. Everything is kept tidy and clean, lawns are mowed, flowers and trees are trimmed. Everything down to the last detail is flawless. The food was excellent, as was the room and the fireplace. It's hard to put into words how serene the vibe is.

The only thing I can nitpick is the very last stretch of the road to get to the property. It's unpaved and if you have a very low car it might be a bit of slalom to get it there. But that's a minor thing compared to how great everything else is.

The location is a bit tricky going up the mountain specially during the night, 5 minutes before arriving to the hotel the road is unfinished would be good to have all the way.

The dinner was so private and romantic! The food was delicious and the staff were amazing! The property is so beautiful and secluded!

We didn’t have much response from some questions for the front desk lady, and the location is a bit difficult to get to I just wish we could have had a heads up to be more prepared for the narrow, dirt road.

The location is amazing and the rooms are spacious. The staff are all so accommodating and generous. Would highly recommend the wine tasting and cooking course, the staff involved are great. The hotel has a great private feel to it, with perfect views. The food was to a very high standard. Would definitely go back

Winter in the mountains, getting away from it all. Waking up to stunning views, crisp mountain air, the smell of woodsmoke. Slept brilliantly every night. We enjoyed making a crackling fire in the room every evening, with wood for the open fireplace restocked daily. Generous bathroom with enormous private jacuzzi. We booked half-board which I’d recommend - on a cold evening heading to the beautiful winter garden restaurant for aperativo followed by a delicious (5 course!) meal was pretty special. We spent our days visiting nearby towns & going for walks in the surrounding hills and vineyards. The final kilometre to get to Le Lappe is unpaved, but we didn’t have any problems in our small hire car. If approaching from the west (via Montegrossi) the road is unpaved for several kilometres as well. Again, not an issue but nervous drivers may want to approach via Mintegonzi.
