Wifi was hit and miss, we were obviously on the edge of the range and it wouldn't work throughout the apartment Hair dryer was poor Apartment was lacking some basic pieces of equipment e.g. a cork screw, bottle opener, chopping board, plug for kitchen sink When windy the apartment was very noisy as all the doors seemed to bang throughout the stairwell

Absolutely loved this accomodation. From the moment we booked to even after we left Giulia did everything to make our stay as easy as it could be, including complementary lifts to and from train station. Villa Altomare is on the opposite side of Otranto Bay to old town, so it is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle. 10-15 minute walk gets you there. All requests we had were dealt with promptly and professionally. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Leaving

We loved everything. Villa has great location near the sea in a calm part of city. You can take a 10-minute walk to the historic city centre. Beach near the villa has great access to the water for children. Villa was spacey, clean and had evrything we needed. Air con is working, it has very well equipped kitchen, bathroom was clean as well. Our stay was amazing also thanks to host, Giulia. She picked us up from train station, helped us with travel itinerary around Puglia, renting a car and recommendations for everything we asked for. Out overall stay was amazing, realxing and we enjoy ourselves very much.

Very nice apartment, spacious, clean, functional and tidy, balconies east and west. Central location, view from balcony to historic old town and amazing beaches. Very clean city, lots of artsy shops, relaxing bars and so much savage countryside and beaches to explore. You can definitely feel the vibe of a very historical fisherman’s town.Private and secure parking. Lots of entertainment and restaurants. Various food stores, fresh markets. And such nice hosts! We have been taken care of like family with Giulia.

Nothing. But I would like to mention that local people stick somewhat to themselves… well I don’t blame them but that is just if you wanted to make connections. Once you approach them, they are very courteous and polite.

Nice apartment in a good location. Everything you need is just one step away. Incredible Otranto, with its historical center and famous Otranto Cathedral, is a 5-minute walk away. You watch the sea and ships from your balcony. Quiet, cozy, bright. Equipped with a washing machine, iron, small but modern kitchen with induction hob and everything you need. Free secure parking. Reasonable price. 10 minutes from the La Conca karting track where I was for work.

A good internet connection is very important these days. I can't say it was slow, but for my work I need an upload speed of at least 50 Mbps. I had much less, about 5 Mbps.

Slightly out of the town centre, but very very close to the beach. Great size apartment with 2 bedrooms . Equipped kitchen and free parking. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Our apartment had 2 balconies and a washing machine too

We were on the second floor and there was no lift and no one told us ( we were told we had no seaview ,that was fine but a heads up re no lift would have been useful). The lighting was either too bright (overhead) or too dull (bedside lights) Kitchen lighting was too dark

What a hidden gem this place is! This property is conveniently located in front a fantastic beach of crystal clear water. If you are coming with your family, this place is exactly what you are looking for! Our apartment host, Giuli, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable and satisfied. She was attentive and genuinely kind! The photos on Booking.com don’t do justice to the beautiful view from the window in the living room/kitchen and to all that this apartment offers! Our apartment had a large bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living room and a kitchen. It was perfect! Giuli, grazie mille a tutti! I wish you and your family all the best! We’ll be back!

Super location if you’re travelling with a vehicle with parking on site. Literally steps from public beach and 5 min walk to private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. 10 minute walk to the old town which was absolutely stunning. Lots of dining and shopping options. Giulia was very responsive and very welcoming. Highly recommend this area and this apartment!

Awesome apartment, right on the seaside, clean and comfortable ! We could not get enough of the seaside views. Giulia and her mom are excellent hosts, so kind and helpful! We had the best time and hope to come back soon.

The furniture is a bit old fashioned and the lighting quite harsh, as is often the case in Italian houses. None of that really bothered us, though.

The location was amazing, we booked the ocean view and it was the best seat in town (we got to watch the fireworks from our window). They offered free parking which was helpful and provided a stress-free driving experience, each unit had a designated spot. The room was spotless. It was a few steps away from local coffee shops. The apartment's location was perfect, it felt central even though it was far enough from the busier part of town.

There's nothing to dislike.
