Location was fantastic! Breakfast was more than ample and our host was a fantastic baker - lovely home made cakes for breakfast, with cold meats and bread, savoury items, fruit and fruit juices etc home made yogurt - all beautiful!

Nothing to dislike - possibly less furniture in the bedroom to give a more airy and spacious feel - but this is more my personal preference as nothing wrong with the rooms themselves, lovely large room nice and quiet and bright

A beautiful old palazzo with charm, decorated in the old style with 15 ft. ceilings. Our room was spacious with a balcony and new bathroom, walk in shower. Breakfast was more than generous, we skipped lunch almost every day. Owners lived on site and we're very attentive. They helped with suggestions on day trips to S.M.Leuca, Otranto, and Lecce. We were a block from Corso Roma the main road into the old town. The walk was about 10 mins. Multiple great restaurants and shopping within 50 yards and on- site parking. Over all a very safe and pleasant stay.

Nothing.

It was in a good position virtually stand alone with parking right in front. An amazing old building (more than 180 years old) which offered a number of rooms with their own bathrooms. They had cute balconies and I even managed to do some laundry and hang them out on the balcony just like the locals do. A 15 minute walk had us in Old Gallipoli a definite must see. Rooms were a bit tight with 2 large suitcases and 1 carry on. Easy walking distance to the main strip...and to the local beach area. Lots of food choices, with fresh seafood being food of choice as they fish daily. It's a family run business and breakfast was sensational...all made in casa...there was just so much, it was truly wonderful. During the summer they have it on their outdoor patio, in the winter inside dining area.

There are no elevators so you have to carry luggage up stairs, we were assisted so that was nice. No coffee making facilities and no water in the room.

Hotel was 1 min walk from railway station, so great after a long train trip. Had the 4bed family room, was spacious and well planned with lots of shelf/clothes hanging space. Beds/pillows were super comfortable. The star is the rooftop terrace where we spent a lot of the time and they also served breakfast. Great sea views and sea breeze. Very pleasant family run ,specially very helpful( and glamorous!)Desiree Breakfast was very sumptuous. 1/2hr walk to old town, but has loads of restaurants close by.

WiFi in room very erratic, but good in reception/on roof terrace and courtyard. Could do with better blinds as bright sunlight streaming from 6am Breakfast start time a bit late 8am. Train noise did not disturb. Everything else was fabulous

My partner and I stayed at Antico as our first stop on our Puglia honeymoon and it was fantastic! Location is right in the heart of the new town, close to the bars/ restaurants and a short walk to the old town. Parking there is ample free parking right outside the accommodation making it really easy with our large Suit cases! Check in was made super easy with Angelo who even provided restaurant recommendations which we went to and was super tasty! The room had literally everything you needed - aircon, fridge, clothing line, balconies and it felt very very safe and secure Breakfast was out of this world! They provided so much for us to eat and drink, we didn’t eat again until the evening! The hosts were so lovely and very patient with my broken/ not so great Italian speaking skills. I highly recommend staying here and we would definitely return.

Great location very close to the station but quiet at night. Lovely friendly staff and an amazing breakfast every day. Having the room cleaned and fresh towels every day was an unexpected treat. Room was generally cool and there was good aircon

Its in an old palazzo building and is a bit quirky which is part of its old world charm but might not suit everyone, for us it was a great contrast to other places we have stayed

Delightful spacious former family home beautifully set up for guests with friendly and helpful family hosts. Even when closed, instant assistance when I had trouble with the front door one night. Ample breakfast on the terrace. Some of the downstairs rooms are modern/white but mine was delightfully decorated with frescos and antique furniture as were the public areas. Literally the closest building to the railway station across a car park/square. Plenty of shops/cafes within a few blocks, and a flat 15 minute walk to the old town.

Nothing. Loved it.

The personal attention by Desirée and her family. She makes the best breakast in Italy. The location was very central, near the train station and free parking and the historic centre of Galipoli was only a ten minute walk.. There are many lovely beaches in the area for swimming and snorkling and much to do

We didn't get to do everything !

A lovely old hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful really lovely even carried my case upstairs! Breakfast was excellent loads of choice. In the evening we could sit up on the terrace with our wine, there were no glasses in the room but they happily supplied some. Thank goodness for google translate!!! Located by the station so free parking which was great. A 10-15 min walk to the old town but that was fine . A fridge in the room was useful. Would stay again.

We had a room for 3 . I don't think the single bed was great according to my friend. The balcony was too small to sit on but we could use the terrace which was fine.

Staff was amazing and helpful. Breakfast was once of the best we have ever experienced at a property. Great location and parking right outside

Beds were a little uncomfortable and towels scratchy. It was very hot and had to remove the key each time you left to turn off the electrical which turned off the AC unit. It did cool down quickly once turned on
