Great breakfast with a sea view, perfect location for exploring the historic part of the town. The rooms are really big and comfy, with good wifi and incredibly comfortable beds. The staff are really lovely too, and they are eager to show you the highlights of the city and give you tips on restaurants. The parking is very convenient. No lifts but there is a chair lift for heavy luggage.

Modern design. Clean and comfortable. Well positioned for both the old and new town. The staff were exceptional, particularly Ciarra who went over and above when we had a problem with our hire car. In fact all of the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was well designed and large for 2 people. Lovely comfy bed and hi technology for lights, air conditioning etc. The breakfast bufffet was good and the coffee was great! Any little problem we encountered during our stay was dealt with in a friendly and professional way by the team, who thankfully spoke brilliant English. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable.

The position of the hotel meant that it was a little noisy, particularly 1st thing in the morning if we had the windows open. There are no communal facilities in the hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities are not provided in the rooms.

The accommodation is a few minutes' walk from the centre but not too far. Free parking directly in front of the hotel. The staff was very courteous and we were even allowed to check in an hour earlier than planed. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a short city trip. The bed was comfortable. The selection at the breakfast buffet was fine for the short time but nothing special. Nice view.

A few corners of the room in need of renovation especially in consideration of the price you pay and the four stars. No lift.

The staff were very pleasant The location is good enough, you look out over the Marina and it is a short walk to the historical center. Breakfast was nice. Nice to have access to the roof terrace, although we didn't get a chance to use it.

Nothing major. Things to note would be: the room was a little small and the twin bed are narrow single beds ( I wish Italy would change the standard to 90 centimeters), the bathroom could do with more storage to put your things, the water pours out under the shower door onto the bathroom floor.

Boutique hotel with beautiful views of Gallipoli marina, situated in a quiet street. Two steps from the historical center and main street. Incredibly nice and polite staff and the owner who takes care of everything. A wide selection of food and drinks for breakfast. I recommend it with all my heart and I will definitely come back with pleasure.

XilHotel was tremendous from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was everything (and more) than we might have hoped for, and at a good price. The breakfast was the best that we found in 10 days in Italy with a great view too.

There was little if anything to improve upon. Maybe if I was being picky we could have used another USB socket in the room?

A nice hotel with a good location a short distance from the old center. I appreciate the possibility of parking at the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Professional and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Even though it is located near the railway tracks, it didn't bother me, trains don't go to the old town.

Slight smell in the room, also in the bathroom. It was necessary to ventilate.

It’s a modern type with touch of high technology, soft touch to lights switches, TV like a mirror, very clean room though our room is a Standard one so its a bit small but enough for a couple and their service staff are excellent especially Alexandra who is quite knowledgeable and helpful on giving is tips to best restos in town as well as giving advices to what to see in our next destination which was Lecce. In the absence of Alexandra, her colleague Leticia was also very nice and friendly and helpful for easy check out.

Very modern room, different from where we normally stay, with numerous mirrors as decoration on the walls. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went to a lot of trouble to find somewhere suitable for us in the evening. I'm glad we did not stay on the historic centre as we enjoyed the experience of crossing the bridge from the hotel to arrive in the old quarter.

Personally I thought the breakfast could have had some improvements. We were there 4 nights so saw some fruit and pastries every morning not being refreshed.
