As I’m waiting at the Lamezia airport I’m filled with so much gratitude for how well the staff and owners treated me. I traveled as a woman by myself for the first stretch of my trip and I felt so safe. The room, the B&B was more than I could have imagined. It was quiet and quaint perfect to relax and rejuvenate. Even when my two teenage kids joined me halfway through the trip, the room was spacious enough for all three of us. The rooms were immaculately clean, they supply everything for you from soap to dishware. My room did not have a kitchen but all the rooms that had one were supplied with pots and pans. The location is approximately 10 minutes away by car to stores, restaurants and the beach. The pool was cleaned everyday and the perfect temperature. The staff was amazing, a couple of days I wasn’t feeling well and they checked in on me to ensure I was ok. The beaches are stunning along the coast. Make sure to eat at il Gambero (best pizza) and don’t forget to try Rostorante l’Oasi. There’s a mall close by that had amazing sales at this time of year. Amantea (30 minutes away) has amazing shopping as well ladies. You need a car to get around-please do yourself a favour and go see Pizzo it’s beyond stunning. The property was in a perfect location with a sea view of the Mediterranean. The two brother owners Vincenzo and Reno went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Breakfast cooked by Arianna was outstanding with a variety of choices. Mary did an excellent job cleaning the rooms. The pool area was well maintained. We even had an opportunity to grill some steaks on the outdoor barbeque near the pool. I would highly recommend Casale Calabria for anyone wishing to visit the area as it is very close to the sea and beach clubs. Also Supermercato Iper Sisi is only 2 miles from the Casale Calabria making very convenient.

Best place I've stayed by far! (Stayed here from July 17th till July 21st 2025) Where do I start!? Let's start by saying that this is the best place (either hotel/bed & breakfast/airbnb) I've ever stayed at! The owners (2 brothers Vincenzo & Reno) are the most welcoming and helpful people! I mean, they really treat you like family and genuinely want you to feel at home! They will go out of their way to make you feel truly happy! From the moment we arrived they made sure we had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful (greenery and serene view of the ocean)! It's very clean and spacious with a beautiful pool! They offer an amazing tasty breakfast with lots of choices. Ariana makes everything homemade and fresh! Grazie ancora! The B&B is perfectly located in Gizzeria Calabria really near all the main attractions near by! It's less that a q0 min drive from the beach and Falerna. Gizzeria beach and another gorgeous beach near Hang Loose resto is a few min drive. The rooms are very spacious and clean. You can tell that they built the property with high end materials as it's really nice in there! Big windows and really big terrace. Bed was very comfortable as well! This place is great for families too especially if you have young kids like us (1 year old and 3 year old). There are kid toys to play and it hept out kids occupied while waiting for breakfast or while dipping in the pool. FYI they had just finished building a park for kids when we were leaving with a slide, swings etc. So that's an added bonus for families. You can tell that the owners invest a lot in this place as they are always looking to improve the property (even though there is an ample amount of services already offered)! Just another little example how amazing and helpful Vincenzo is, the day we arrived there, he accompanied us to one of the beaches and a restaurant (because most places are closed in the afternoon) with his car.

Nothing at all it was a perfect vacation home! Did I say it was the best place I've stayed at??? Trust me, you will not regret coming here! Absolutely fantastic place. The moment you drive through the gate you feel like you're home. The location is outstanding. More view wise than actual location as you 100% will need a car but trust me, You will not be disappointed. The guys Vincenzo and Rino are a pair of legends. Can't do enough for you and the answer is always yes. This goes to all the other staff we met especially in the kitchen at breakfast time. I'm coming back here for sure. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and that includes all the 5* all inclusive hotels. Only great things to say really.

Couldn't fault a single thing. Obviously you will have to be aware what you're booking.

The accommodation is breathtaking and something special, the owners are incredibly attentive, and you immediately feel well taken care of. If there’s ever a problem, they are quick to help and even supported us with things they didn’t really have to. If you're looking for something special, secluded and private, without any neighbors, it's absolutely perfect. Although it's in a quiet and somewhat remote location, you're still just a short drive away from many great restaurants. The view is stunning, the area is peaceful, and there's both a pool and a great hot tub to enjoy.

A calm and peaceful B&B in the midst of an olive grove with a view of the sea. Pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, breakfast area with floor to ceiling windows which again offer the view of olive trees and the sea. Staff (Maria at breakfast, Rino and Vincenzo as the owners) all do a marvelous job. Everything is clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful place.

This doesn't really qualify as a negative, but more an observation from my part - maybe more variety at breakfast (fresh bread, for example, some salami/prosciutto) although it was good enough to start the day.

We spent three nights at Casale Calabria and had a fantastic stay. The place is peaceful and surrounded by olive trees, just 10 minutes from Falerna and the beach. The pool is excellent, and breakfast is amazing – you can order almost whatever you like. The staff, from Vincenzo to everyone else, were incredibly kind and client-focused. We really appreciated being allowed to use the grill, and the host was always helpful.

What a great stay this was! The atmosphere is so peaceful, views are gorgeous, rooms and premises are clean and comfortable, and you feel sooo welcomed and taken care of. Only the best memories. Thanks to Rino for handling our requests always with a smile and for the precious home-made wine! And thanks to Ariana for cooking the breakfast and the irresistible pastries every morning!

Nothing to not like. Just note that a car is very useful when staying here.

One of the best places we stayed at. Everything was amazing. From the location, to the apartment, the pool, the view (simply breathtaking overseeing the mountains, the ocean, the olive gardens…) and not least the amazing breakfast we enjoyed every day. A perk is the option of cooking outside, which we enjoyed. Just beware of the wasps. Important to have a car to reach Casale Calabria as it’s located in the country side.

This place is outstanding! Situated in a quiet location with stunning views of the sea and surrounding olive groves. So peaceful and relaxing. Rino is an excellent host who was keen to make our stay as perfect as possible. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond. The accommodation can not be faulted. Immaculately clean and spacious, providing everything you need. There is a wonderful swimming pool, sun loungers, and an outside shower (a very cool, converted surf board). There is an outside barbecue which we took advantage of one evening and enjoyed some local produce. It is a short 5 minute drive to the beach where you can find various restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. We made a day trip to Reggio Calabria and could have made a short day trip to Sicily, had we wanted to.

There was nothing to dislike.
