My two kids and I had a lovely stay at Villa Marina. The apartment in the annex was nicer than expected with a large balcony and partial sea views. The garden and pool area were nice with views of Porto Maurizio and the sea. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

The only downside was that I found the traffic around the residence and imperia a bit intense, it was pretty nerve wracking walking around with two kids (we didn’t have a car). Other than that - a great place to stay.

The pool is just amazing (and there are many sunbeds all with face shields which was just great because you could easily find a free one at all times)!!! The building is equally stunning The location is 23min by foot from train station, 10min by foot from a lovely city part with port and restaurants, and literally 1min from the local bus stops that will take you anywhere along the riviera, very convienient. The room was spacious, fully equipped with the kitchen and bathroom as well as fan and air conditioning. There was also a space outside to dry your towels and cloths. All was working great! Also we could leave our luggage after the checkout and enjoy the area for a few more hours which was great as our train was just around 17h Also! On the property there is a bar/restaurant with very reasonable prices, a plus!

I really liked it and I fully recommend it!!! And all the ‘minuses’ are really just small things to take into consideration while booking or for the owners to maybe work on: - there are some curtains in the windows but the sun is still strongly coming through in the morning so take those eye masks with you! - there are no basic spices in the kitchen (oil, salt, …) so bring them or buy before coming - the taxis are really hard to catch so don’t count on them!!! - the stairs in our room were black so it was slightly dangerous going down as you almost didn’t see the single steps

If you rent the maisonette in the annex (which is great, large enough for four people), be aware that you share a terrace with the other to maisonettes.

A charming old villa with a nice pool area surrounded by palm trees and other exotic plants and trees. Flexibility of staff, we got some extra time for the pool, because we arrived a little late due to heavy traffic. One of our two apartments had view to the old town. Spacious air conditioned flats with comfortable beds. Good and safe parking space on the courtyard for a small extra fee. A short walking distance to the old town of Imperia.

The kitchen is a bit tight and is not equipped with e.g. regular microwave oven only a kind of grilling or baking gadget is available. We found the opening hours of the pool two short, it could/should be open much longer than 6 p.m. In the morning the pool opens at 9 a.m. and check out is already at 10. The short opening times are especially uncomfortable for one night guests. Finding the property is a bit challenging but the instructions were good and useful, especially the photo of the last interception/gate.

It is very difficult to drive to via Google maps or Apple Maps due to the stack of roads and the driveway. Look carefully at satellite view in either and plot the route before approaching. Once you go up the driveway it's amazing!

Perfect location, within walking distance from Porto Maurizio and near many good restaurants. Very nice apartment with a well furnished kitchen and comfortable beds. The pool was also a highlight, perfect for swimming and relaxing.

Advice on parking. Pool. Great views with balcony as we had a seaside room. Great building and surrounding garden.

Safe should be bolted into something solid. Pool opening hours could be longer.

Helpful & friendly staff, comfortable apartment, lovely pool with stunning views. Short walk to harbour & sea. On bus route. Comfortable bed. Lovely building with lots of greenery. Very relaxing.

Air con in bedrooms noisy. Bedroom curtains thin &/or not well-fitting.

The swimming pool is very nice, with a view on the sea and on the old town. We had a little table outside, we enjoyed eating outside.

The bathroom is very small. When you seat on the toilets ,you have the bidet in the legs. It was the only downside.

View, pool and location. Slightly difficult to find without instructions as the property comes up on the main road

Could have had a more comfortable bed in the upstairs room, but it was ok for one person
