Great location. Nice building, big rooms. Safe parking, beautiful garden. Only few steps to the nearest store. Restaurants are in walking distance.

The staff was friendly, but many times we couldn't find anybody at the reception. Same boring breakfast everyday with bad quality ham. There wasn't served too many vegetables, only few tomatos and cucumbers. In our room was thick dust on top of cabinets.

My stay at Il Cavalier di Arpino , was truly unforgettable. This hotel, with its palace-like architecture and elegant décor, exudes luxury and charm. Every detail, from the beautifully furnished rooms to the breathtaking views, creates an atmosphere of pure sophistication. What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the hostess, Sonia, She is not only incredibly beautiful but also the epitome of warmth and hospitality. Her attentiveness and genuine care made me feel completely at home. Staying at Il Cavalier di Arpino was like stepping into a dream. It’s a place where time seems to stand still, and every moment is filled with beauty and tranquility. If you’re looking for a luxurious escape in Italy, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

A welcoming host, beautiful old building, a choice of room sizes, (even the single is spacious) creative decor in the public area, (old sewing machines etc.) An alimentari - basic food shop next door, large landscaped garden. Free tea//coffee lounge with comfortable seating, and and iron too. Arpino is the nicest small town in this historic area.

Nothing to dislike, but a suggestion to open the restaurant for evening meals. I do realise that this would entail hiring more staff but think that it could work, because there are only a couple of restaurants in the centre of Arpino. Perhaps a buffet style with hot plates, and a few choices a la carte? Open it up to non residents.

Breakfast could have been healthier. Lots of cakes low fat sugary yogurt. There was fresh fruit but it was unripe. There was also sugary breakfast cereals. Coffee tasted of liquorice. The most unpleasant coffee I have had during my months stay in Italy. Pity because every single other thing was super

The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was very good, walking distance to the centre. The breakfast was very good.

The facilities were limited, such as no kettle or tea maker in the room; no bar or evening meal which would have been more convenient. The tea room could be improved by including teacups instead of paper cups; cutlery and plates. It was also dark and isolated. No view and lacked a relaxing atmosphere. Noisy corridors very early in the morning when people were leaving. Woke us up!

This is our third time staying here on our way south from Rome. The last time we were there was 10 years ago, but the hotel is still as wonderful. You feel like you are in a palace. The breakfast room, the park... are especially beautiful. The hotel staff are the nicest!

In the cold season, the bathroom is cold, but that doesn't matter. The rooms are warm and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The hotel is a fantastic place to chill, gardens are beautiful and Hydro pool a really good size. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

It was perfect

The spacious high ceiling breakfast room was lovely with a warm & inviting atmosphere. There was a good assortment of breakfast items but mostly leaning towards the typical sweet side than the savoury.

Our room was small and our single beds were narrow. The hotel was nearly full so I don’t know if larger rooms exist and we just happened to get a smaller room. Upon completing our morning room service, the cleaning staff used a spray air freshener, which was very strong. As we both have a sensitivity to chemical air fresheners, we discussed our issue with the owner and the practise was discontinued during our stay. The Owner was very concerned and did her best to make our stay comfortable.

Our culinary detour in Arpino, mid-way from Rome to Puglia, was nothing short of delightful. The hotel's friendly staff, led by a knowledgeable owner, instantly made us feel welcomed. Nestled in the heart of Arpino, the hotel featured a tranquil garden and a prime location. The owner shared local insights of where to go and arranged a contact to a nearby farm for us, which we visited for a tour and some antipasti with a touch of authenticity. Our room was spacious and clean with a good AC. The windows offered a view of the garden and were equipped with effective blackout blinds for a peaceful morning rest. The hotel's ample parking space was a bonus, allowing us come and go by car as we pleased.

The sound isolation to the hallway could have been better. The hot water regulator for the shower was a bit unstable.

Lovely building and gardens. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Loved the breakfast in the lovely‘fresco’ room. The resident cats were lovely too 😻

Loved everything. A small bar would be nice but we could still order a drink from reception to have outside on the terrace which was nice.
