My travel plans called for me to arrive in Lecce about 3pm on 27 Sep. Rather than arriving at the train or bus station, the bus was to arrive at the Palazzetto Della Sport, so I looked for lodging in the northeast corner of the city. Holidays Lecce fit that bill nicely. The room was large enough for at least two people, and quite nicely decorated. The hostess was kind enough to show me how to get in and out with the keys, and where things were in the main room for breakfast. Holidays Lecce is not far from the city center, a bit over a kilometer and a half via the ring road and the Porta Napoli. The building is set back from the street about 1o meters by a courtyard, so it was comparatively quiet at night. I enjoyed watching the magpies in the courtyard in the morning.

Minor issue, but the larger shower head probably needs to be repaired or replaced, as it squirts water over the top of the shower door onto the bathroom floor. One shower head is plenty. Also, the shower door would work better if it opened on the right, rather than the left.

For travelling with a car, it was nice to find a rental that included parking that was not on the street. The location was a 20 minute walk to the Centro Storico location of the town. The area of the rental was in middle of some very good restaurants, gelato bars and pizzerias. You had everything you would need outside your door. The apartment has a common area for breakfast and lounging area with lots of tourist information at hand. Check in and communication with the host was seamless.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable but everybody has there own comfort level. Just a little far out from the centro Lecce, but we just walked, if your jumped on a bus it would be a very quick trip.

Very nice and cozy place. Ideal location if you have a car or a bike. Lucrezia, the host, was super nice and helpful. She gave us all the directions we needed and recommended things to do. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh local pastries, we loved it! One day we got a pasticciotto that was even more delicious than the one we got at the best cafeteria in town.

It was very clean, comfortable and the host Lucrezia was wonderful - she speaks fluent English language and makes herself available for any questions, hints or proposals. She made us feel like home. And also great to have a privat parking spot behind the gate.

There was only sweet food for breakfast. It will be ok if offer bread and butter at least.

Fantastic English speaking owner, extremely helpful, eager to solve each problem. Incredibly hospitable and friendly. Quiet neighborhood, about 15 minutes walking from the old town. Parking on a fenced housing estate.
