Attico Barocco is a cozy and convenient family-run accommodation located close to Santa Croce Cathedral. From the fourth floor (there’s a lift), guests have a fantastic view of the cathedral and surrounding buildings from the huge terrace. Although there’s no breakfast option, our room was equipped with a fridge, kettle with tea and instant coffee, and biscuits. The bonus was the balcony off our room and a very clean, modern bathroom. Gianni went out of his way to ensure we were happy (Sì!) and that we saw the highlights of his beautiful city, Lecce. The housekeeper was so accommodating, making sure we were warm enough as the nights were starting to cool down. These personal touches made our stay so pleasant and delightful. I highly recommend Attico Barocco if you are looking for a lovely and affordable accommodation in the heart of the Old Town.

Nothing! All good.

We loved our stay. Gianni gave us an early check in which was much appreciated and lots of good information. The location in the old town was excellent and only a 15 mins walk from the train station. It has a lift. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean, with a kettle and fridge. The private balcony was very useful with a drying rack to dry our clothes. We would definitely stay again.

We liked everything it’s in an old building and is homely and comfortable.

Location is excellent. B&B is on the 4th floor but building has a small elevator. Everything is super clean. Rome has everything you need. The common balcony is very nice to sit on and have a coffee or a drink. Host provides a lot of good info and he is available via phone/whatsapp all the time but there is no one in B&B.

There is no breakfast. The excuse is Covid but this is an old excuse, not relevant anymore. B&B should have a breakfast, that what 2nd “B” stands for. It would have been nice to have a breakfast on a balcony. Also a/c is not good. It’s central air but it set up not to go more than 5 degrees below outside temperature. So during hot weather, for example, 32C , it will not go below 27C. It also takes time to cool the room and it has to be turned off when you are not in. I couldn’t sleep well because it was too hot for me.

This was a fantastic B&B. The individual rooms were very large and extremely confortable. Remote blinds really helped darken the room for sleeping. Bed and pillows were comfy. A fan was provided and did help a litte with the AC. Loved the decor and the communal terrace was so nice in the evenings. You could even see the sunset. But the best part was the host, Gianni. He met us, showed us around, and was super helpful when we had questions. We really enjoyed sharing a glass of wine with him on the terrace. Highly recommend!!

Everything was great! The only thing is that it didnt serve breakfast.

It was so nice to be met by Gianni. So many properties in Italy we never met the owner. Gianni is a fantastic host and provides a great service with restaurant bookings, best areas to visit and best route to get there. Our room had the private balcony which was lovely to sit out in the evening. Room was immaculate and cleaned on request - daily if you want. I can’t speak highly enough of Gianni - a wonderful young man who really wants guests to have an enjoyable stay. The cafe bar downstairs serves a delicious breakfast of granola yoghurt and fruit.

Our stay was very nice at Attico Barocco. Gianni was very welcoming and helpful and gave us so much information on things to see in Lecce (they have set up a website for guests with tons of information on places to see, what to eat, etc)! The communal terrace has amazing views over the city and the room we stayed in was very modern and clean with good AC and a nice fan that cooled the room enough we sometimes didn’t even need the AC. The little terrace off our room was nice to relax on in the evening. Overall a great stay in a wonderful location in Lecce, we definitely want to come back!

The place was beautifully located, it was immaculate, had a fridge and kettle, it was large and extremely consumable and it was like walking into a family member’s living room. The host was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. He shared great links to things he had out together for places to eat, things to do etc and gave such good advice and recommendations along with organising early morning taxi pickups. You got more than just a room when you stayed here!!

The Attico Barroco was kind of a lucky punch for us. We got the nicest, very spacious and comfortable room with everything we could have desired. The huge terrace offered a priceless view over the roofs and looked right onto the Basilica of Santa Croce. The location is unbeatable and Gianni shared his own website with many Google maps for the various needs we had. Unlike many hosts, Gianni was present and willing to spend time to talk (and listen!) to us and gave us all kinds of advice. Finally, someone who engages personally with his guest and seems to enjoy it, too! Thank you so much.

Absolutely nothing.

Attico Barocco is a wonderful B&B, located right in the middle of Lecce. It has a central lounge with stunning views over the church and coffee, tea, wine and snacks are available all day. We had a lovely room which had a large terrace looking over the Church. Gianni is a wonderful host and could not do enough for us. He helped us to book some wonderful restaurants and gave us some great ideas for places to visit outside of the tourism route. We stayed her as part our mini tour of Puglia and could not have chosen a better accommodation. We stayed 3 nights and would loved to have stayed more. Thank you Gianni!

Nothing to dislike at all.

The location was excellent and the view from the common terasse great. You could help yourself to free coffee, tea, snacks and fruits at any time. The red room I had was spacious with a large bathroom and a small balcony (no view, clean, did not use it). The host was very welcoming and willing to help with anything. The cafeteria next door where the guests get a small discount is very good, highly recommended for breakfast.

The red room was quite outdated, unlike the other rooms. The shower hose was leaking, sockets not working that well but the room was clean and functional and served the purpose well. The pigeons on the balcony and opposite roof kept me awake the first night. With the balcony door roller blind down and ear blugs it was fine.
