Everything. important for those who want to go to the airport from this hotel: you need to take the cotral bus from the station. And buy tickets from there. Only 1.3€. Not everybody in ostia knows that unfortunately.

For a 3 star hotel it was comfortable and charming. A quirky but simple set up for breakfast, with a basic but good enough choice to eat and drink. You had basic beer, wine, water and other soft drinks available to buy along with tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms were basic but suitable for our needs, as really we only needed somewhere to shower and sleep. They had air conditioning and we also had a nice little balcony with a table and chairs with sea view. If you fancied something different, it had a very quaint little rear courtyard garden with plenty of seating, sun beds and umbrellas. Directly across the road you can find 2 private beaches with plenty of sun beds, great amenities and food and drink. You also have very close access to public beaches, town centre, restaurants, bars, bus links and train station.

Location was amazing … across from the beach and next to the main piazza. Only thing missing in this hotel are refrigerators.. other than that I would definitely book again.Train Station is with in walking distance and buses.Very clean and A/C got very cold.. don’t understand previous travelers complaining about the AC. Great hotel- I highly recommend this hotel

We had a fantastic time! It’s very easy to reach — we came by train from Rome and the hotel is only about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The warm, friendly welcome felt really nice, especially so early in the morning. Since we stayed only one night and had an early flight the next day, they let us move our breakfast to the day we arrived. The selection was rich and delicious, with fresh Italian coffee — everything was divine! We were even able to check into the room before noon, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious (with a sea view) and had everything we needed. The lack of a fridge didn’t bother us at all, as we could drink cold, tasty water straight from the tap. The air conditioning was central, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The panoramic view from the terrace was wonderful — sitting outside in the evening was very cozy and atmospheric. There are plenty of restaurants, as well as small and large grocery shops nearby. The Lido beach is right in front of the hotel. It’s not cheap, but the staff is kind, the loungers are comfortable, it’s not too crowded, and the beach is very clean — just a 2‑minute walk away. When we left early the next morning, they even gave us a croissant each — this thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. There is a public bus also, which goes to FCO airport, you can use this instead of taxi. We can only recommend Hotel Ping-Pong! ❤

This was a very good Italian hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. I traveled with my family, so we saw three rooms, and all of them were of adequate size. The bathrooms were also spacious. The beds were comfortable. Towels were changed every day, and soap and shampoo were provided in the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. The air conditioner worked well. For breakfast, they offered sweet pastries, which were very delicious. The coffee was also very good. A free beach was 7 minutes away, and other restaurants, shops, and markets were also very close by.

The hotel is awaiting renovation, but many Italian hotels are like this. It's always possible to pay more and stay in a modern glass hotel. This kind of old-fashioned charm actually adds to the romantic Italian atmosphere.

Hotel Ping Pong in Lido di Ostia was an absolute delight! The highlight of our stay was the fantastic terrace with its breathtaking sea view. Watching the sunset from there each evening, while sipping our favorite drinks, was pure magic and became a cherished part of our daily routine. The breakfast was lovely, with a good variety of options to start the day right. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. The location, right by the sea, is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the ambiance of the hotel makes it a wonderful choice for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Lido di Ostia. Highly recommended!

I stayed for the Jiu-Jitsu European Championships and the location was perfect, about 10 minutes away from the venue with one of the scooters, 30 minutes walk away. The staff were great, they were really helpful, on the day I checked out I still had to compete, but check out was at 11:00. They allowed me to store my bags at the hotel despite checking out of my room. Also when I was unable to get a taxi to the airport, one of the staff members offered to drive me to the airport. I really appreciated how kind and thoughtful they were. The room was very standard, but you expect it for the price. It was always very clean though.

It would have been nice to have a thicker duvet on the bed. They only had a sheet and a thin blanket on top. I like to have a nice thick duvet. Also, it would have been better if they had a few more options for breakfast, the fruit juices were a bit watery and they didn't have many options for food.

lt was great value for money. good location. Comfy room, bed & shower/wc. No balcony this time despite the promise, but not a big deal. Breakfast will win no prizes, but good coffee. Very good beer & other drinks at very reasonable prices in reception area. Many good eating & drinking spots near.

The Rome hotels tax, which is paid before check-in €5/person not room. A shock. booking.com's claim all taxes included inaccurate.

I liked the staff, though really only met receptionist as we checked in and when we checked out. When i enqiired re tea/ coffee as we had kettle in the room and not expecting it, therefore had no tea / coffee with me, the receptionist said i could have some from their coffee counter. In fact she made me a coffee. Next day unfortunately we had to hurry off early before our breakfast so never got to experience it. I liked the balcony and sea view of our room but we had thunder and lightning in the evening so didn't sit out at night. All in all a nice one day stay.

The bathroom door did not close shut but we said nothing as only there for one night.

We spent just few hours at this small family hotel during our long layover last week. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for us and has a large terrace with a sea view. Everything was clean, there are enough towels in the bathroom. Bed was comfy, although we didn't get 2 separate beds as we wanted.

Breakfast was very basic. There is no salt and pepper. There was no AC in our room, but we didn't need it because we just wanted to sleep before our next flight and it wasn't too cold that night.
